Y&R: John Gets a Birthday Surprise

Featured Replies

Today is John's birthday...what birthday surprise will he be presented with?

Also, something major happens to John once his celebration is over...

Nick and Brad are still at odds with each other regarding how to save Sharon (as far as I'm concerned, Brad should have been the one being held at gunpoint).

Talk to you soon once the show has completed

Today's episdoe was better than yesterday's snooze-fest.

Poor John! :( That man just can't catch a break. His bad luck just kept coming ever since that skin cream killing beyotch came into his life. I wish Ashley shoved her out of the car onto the highway en route to the prison right in front of a fast approaching semi. LOL! It looks like they plan to incorporate Gloria even more into the Jabot story. And Kay and Jill continue to be suckered in by her.

It was nice seeing both Kay and Jill visit him on his birthday. With Billy returning, hopefully that will mean more screen time for Jill and hopefully Kay, too.

When Lauren told Gloria that she and Michael need to find his father so that they can get a complete medical history for their baby, that reawakened my feelings that something is going to be wrong with the baby.

I bet all of the Sharon haters were disappointed to find that Sharon wasn't shot. LOL! How in the world does Victoria think she's going to fool these thugs with a fake version of the reliquary they're looking for? I'm picturing her taking pieces of the two they have and glueing them together and the result is what a four year old would make. LOL! And Nick was in complete wuss mode per usual.

I feel that Jack will blame himself for his last conversation with his father;

Gloria is so full of herself; she isn't caring about John; all she talks about is Jabot, Jabot, Jabot. She's on her high horse now, but it most likely won't be long before she and Kevin come tumbling down....These two need to get what's coming to them.

Jill and Katherine...wake these two women up...While they are sitting there bickering as to why John should/n't be back at Jabot, they are constantly being snowed by Gloria. Whatever happens they deserve for listening time and time again to a gold digging witch instead of people that have been with that company for the longest time, and who can smell B.S. from a mile away.

I hope when Billy comes back, he puts a foot up Kevin's butt.

I read something strange in SID; it said something about an unlikely union most likely be formed based on the tragedy that happens to John...Don't know what that means; but it has me curious.

I think Katherine is getting ready to make Jill CEO of Chancellor Industries. I also hope that Jill becomes an ally to Jack and Ashley, especially after the tragedy and when she finds out what Gloria did. It's going on, what, 7 months now, and not even a clue or a wiff that Gloria caused all this mess. All of this other stuff has came out (With the ball being completely dropped in the Lily paternity story), so how is this Cruella Deville still walking around free?

I truly hope that Brad is stripped of every ounce of power at NE when all this is over. And hopefully, Neil will have grown a spine once again a sfar as business is concerned and demand his position as Vikki's right hand man.

You know what my favorite part was, it was Micheal and Lauren. I absolutely loved it.

Jack is still being an idiot. I know you dont like Gloria but your dad does and he will always side with her. He is so going to look bad in this crap I see it coming.

I just cant get into this Brad storyline cause its all over the place. I say keep Sharon there if I had my choice. I just dont think Don can handle this kind of storyline and something is missing for me.

The build-up was all wrong. They built this up to be some grand explosive secret, and when it came out, it fell flat. Because you know that Vikki will forgive him, because she's an idiot, and Nick won't have time to do anything to hum, becausehe'll have two households to take care of.

Also, things are movie way too fast. LL needs to slow down, because last week Brad/George was leaving town, and today he's a action hero. I just hope that The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew can get away with this stupid idea of pasting together the reliquary. How many times has that been done in movies and on television, and how many times has it not worked?

Whose writing this stuff?

I am so sick of the Gloria and the rest of the Fisher clan propping. Enough already.

The Fisher family were a Jack Smith creation. Methinks, however, that LML has fallen in love with Gloria Fisher and she will win out when poor John Abbott finally passes on because of this.

And will lose viewers if she does that. With DOOL getting a brand new writing team, if she continues with the Gloria and Kevin love, and the bionic pace of the stories, DOOL may just take over Y&R this fall.
