Yeah, yeah, yeah Sharon still hasn't told him about Brad (don't care because I felt like that was viewer manipulation)...but now Nick just lies to lie.

Just why did he have to lie about getting the DNA test back? Why? Has he not realized that every time he tells a lie concerning his affair with Phyllis, it hurts his relationship (that he claims to want) with Sharon?

I don't buy the whole, he needs time to digest the info himself...why? Who cares? He's not a teenager, he knows what happens when you lay down with someone else (unprotected, I might add)...he needs to stop lying and start telling the truth. He can start with the fact that he wants to be with Phyllis and that he wants the kid to be his! That would be a start. He can stop playing with everyone's emotions and be a man and tell the truth or risk getting a bullet in his groin when Sharon loses her mind (which I'm praying for!).

Nicholas is the one pissing me off the most in this story, with poor wittle pregnant Phyllis bringing up the rear...but at least I expect her to be a liar...Nick is just too much of a wuss for words.

May I add to this discussion, I loved Nick and Phyllis today! Lord help me but I love these two together. I'm sorry for Jack but I haven't been feeling him lately, especially since he used Victor's illness to take NVP. With that said, I love Jack and Carmen (that stanky, stank!), she better leave Neil alone before Dru comes back and opens a can of beatdown on her.

Daniel and Lily are just so adorable. They are young, yet mature at the same time. I love Colleen and J.T, she makes him likable and he makes her bearable, they are a perfect combination. I love the friendships between these young adults, it reminds me of my own.

Sharon is overcookin' my grits. She is getting on my VERY LAST NERVE! Get over it already, she slept with Brad and continues to flirt with him.

Neil, is making me question his sanity. I see Dru still wears the pants in that family.

Y&R continues to make other soaps look silly and juvenile. This show gets better and better as each day passes. The writing, the directing and the matchless performances from each actor makes Daytime worth watching.

I'm on the fast track to hating Nick and Phyllis, Sharon is still the one gaining sympathy from me (and Jack too for that matter) and JT/Colleen...something about them just seems soo...pathetic (mostly because of Colleen).

Eh, I dont know. I can understand him lying about the paternity results. I don't think anyone would want to read those with their wife in the room, breathing down their neck. And with the waiting for the results and not telling her, why tell her if it turned out to be Jacks and didn't result to anything? Why even have that drama? So I understand his motivation there.

No you didn't say viewer manipulation. If that was the case, every move anyone ever made on a soap could be considered viewer manipulation and everyone watching would be happy with every story.

I think they had Sharon pursue Brad because that's what she wanted. She wanted it months before, but her conscience (and her guilt at cheating on Nick twice before) stopped her. As soon as she found out that Nick was bucking Phyllis when she could have been with Brad, she got out of neutral and mashed her foot on the gas in pursuit of Brad. That's about as realistic as it gets. peopel do this is real life all the time. Is this not the same thing Sharon has always done when she feels Nick's attention is elsewhere? Whether it's another woman, business at Newman, a baseball game with Noah, etc, etc. When a couple continues to sleep with other people, it's more than apparent that they don't have what it takes to be committed to a marriage and each other. I think they both care about the other, but their love has long since fizzled out. Why should we as viewers have to keep seeing them reunite, only for one of them to cheat a little while later? The arguing, teh fighting, the blaming each other. I don't want to keep seeing that [!@#$%^&*] every day. it's good tv for a bit, but when it's a repetitive thing, it quickly becomes annoying (i.e. - the ever revolving Brooke/Ridge crap on B&.

Nick did tell everyone BUT Sharon his true feelings up to this point and I can understand why. She stalks the man and screams at him every chance she gets. She reminds him of his affair, every chance. How many more snide remarks can we hear slide from her mouth? He has to hear it at home AND at work. We had one week (a total of 2 days Genoa City time) where she was in love with him again. PLEASE!!! Why? Because her options were limited to Nick, Nick, Nick and Nick due to Brad slapping on her ass and telling her to get on her way. Sharon is not happy being alone, but she also isn't happy unless she has something to !@#$%^&*] at Nick about. I see JUST why he would lie. She berates him when he tells the truth, because it's never what she wants to hear. But damn, I wish he would go ahead and tell her the truth so they and WE can move on.

How can anyone say Nick doesn't care about Noah? Come on now. Is he supposed to stay with his wife and the both of them be miserable so Noah can be temporarily happy? I say temporarily because if they stay together, that tension and arguing is going to make for a very unhappy household for a child. He wouldn't be the first kid that had to deal with a divorce. When Sharon wanted to divorce Nick, everyone said she should and raise Noah on her own. I've been LOVING Carman and the younger, sexier Neil, but HATED her today. What was the purpose of her sleeping with Jack? They suck together and she's been building something with Neil. Definitely not crazy about this....

LOVED The note for Lily which Colleen thinks is for herself. Very clever way of tricking the audience, until they think back to Alex and Daniel. It'll be exciting to see how this plays out. Flashbacks would be a good thing for new viewers, but with a recast, who knows? This is the most interesting story to me. WHO IS BEHIND ALL THIS?

THANK YOU!!!! She abandoned her children and Nick was the one holding it down at home. This is a HUGE reason why Cassie was always closer to Nick than her own mother. And who saved her ass when Cameron was stalking her? She damn near got all the Newman's killed behind her affair.

I'm just waiting on what Nikki will have to say about her dear daughter in law when she finds out about the tryst with Brad. Phyllis will look like a saint to Nikki in comparison.

For the first time in a long time I am actually on the side of the mistress versus the wife. I feel more sympathy for the mistress than the wife. The wife can jump off a cliff for all I care.
