I doubt that Croatian soaps are that bad.

Yesterday on "Verbotene Liebe", Carla von Lahnstein (Claudia Hiersche) and Susanne Brandner (Claudia Scarpattetti) celebrated their lesbian wedding on the castle Koenigsbrunn. However, the biological father of Susanne's adoptive daughter Lisa (Lilli Hollunder), Alex Wiegand (Frank Behnke), appeared on the scene and wanted Lilli to come back to him. He took several of the characters as hostages and wanted to kill them, because he is mentally insane. At the end, a beloved member of the Brandner family got shot.

Hey, im back. I havent been around for well over a month now, possibly more!

Just wanted to share this video of Hollyoaks, which someone uploaded. Its the moment where Sam came looking for Sophie and Russ, and the fire/explosion which rocked Hollyoaks village. Hollyoaks is based around the student life (uni), over recent years they have gained new fans and the week after the explosion seen the ratings rise to the best in ages. Hollyoaks is seen as 4th when it comes to the other main soaps in UK and rarley gets coverage.

I don't watch EE, sorry.

----

Two German soaps will celebrate their 3000th episodes very soon. "Marienhof" will celebrate the whole week before Christmas with one-hour episodes every day. "Unter uns" will air a double-part episode on December 21st with a special Christmas theme, before the show will kick off the year 2007 with its 3000th episode on January 2nd. Four years ago the show celebrated its 2000th episode with an on-location-shoot in Ireland, and the 2500th episode in 2005 was filmed entirely on Cyprus.

"Marienhof" is the only German soap opera that has a diverse cast. Next to the German cast, there are Hispanic, Turkish and Italian families. The show also has a disabled cast contract member - Erwin Aljukic as Frederik - who has been with the show since 1998. There are currently 28 contract cast members although "Marienhof" is only a half-hour show.

The current contract cast:

I get EE but it's about 5 or 6 weeks behind the UK airings.

Billy & Honey have just had a Down's Syndrome child. Honey is acting weird about it. Peggy Mitchell is just about wild over it.

There's been a lot of drama about Denise's abusive ex.

Ian & Jane had a show-down over Ian pretending Dawn Miller was his wife. That was a few weeks back here so probably a couple of months back in the UK.

Minty has an Australian stripper girlfriend who appears to be really seeing someone else & just using him for his money. It's not totally clear yet.

Stacey's brother Sean has just shown up. He has a mysterious past with another ex-soldier. He tied him up & tortured him. I don't believe that story is over yet. Sean trots around without his shirt an awful lot.

Bradley's father and his new wife & kids moved in but they really haven't been woven in terribly well yet. Jim Branning is particularly upset to have his son around but Dot is trying to be friendly. Bradley got Stacey pregnant then forced her to have an abortion which she didn't want. That was very well done from start to finish. Emotions were running high throughout that whole business.

Pauline was persecuting Sonia the last I saw them which seems to have been weeks ago.

And Denise & her family moved into Pat's place with Kevin & his family after the drama with her ex trying to kill their daughter & himself.

Thank you, DanniGold.

Of all these people, I know about Kate Harwood and that Dominic Treadwell Collins worked as story producer for Family Affairs. Plus, Tony Jordan, of course.

Do you know anything about Brigie de Courcy, who should be some type of British equivalent to American head writer?

P. S. If you have the credits for other soaps (such as Corrie), I’d appreciate if you put the here. Thank you.

I do not think Brigie is the equivelant of a head writer but, I think she is in charge of storylines as the moment. She previously worked as a storyliner on emmerdale. I will add to corrie and emmerdale's credits as soon as I have them.

Corrie

Executive Producer - Kieran Roberts

Producer - Steve Frost

Emmerdale

Executive producer - Keith Richardson

Producer - Kathleen Beedles

Hey everyone. Gosh i have not posted in ages. I know there are some british people on here. But ill post up some Christmas spoilers for the soaps here...

EastEnders

Well as you know Pauline Fowler leaves at Christmas, as to how she will die is still a mystery. There are reports that she is poisoned, or a blow to the head - i guess where just going to have to watch on Christmas Day!

Coronation Street

Bad boy Charlie Stubbs will meet his end - with a bullet.

Emmerdale

Probably one of the biggest who done it in soap history. Tom King is killed on Christmas day - but who killed him? There are a number of suspects, viewers can follow clues and leads via the site.

Hollyoaks

Doesnt air on Xmas day, but there is 4 episodes back to back on Thursday 28th. Now when i read the spoilers i was shocked. Max dies! Max Cunningham dies while trying to save his younger brother Tom after falling in icy water. Evil Clare (his wife) wants him dead, as she recently that he has left her a hefty some of money - after he took drugs to prove to Clare he was "fun and up to it" - in turn suffering a heart attack.

Now, i have a new device which means i can stream LIVE tv via a stream. Ill post the stream address here tomorrow so you can watch either EastEnders or Hollyoaks. Im not keen on Emmerdale sorry.
