Man, I hope Patchclown won't skulk around Salem in his getup for like weeks before people recognize him. How cliched is that?

And yeah, JER is too obssessed with circuses. I guess he thinks they make creepy, mysterious places for storylines.

I actually like the clown idea. Yes JER likes his circuses but I think its a clever way of Steve returning. I mean its better then another island or secluded locale. I like the fact that it seems most of this will be in Salem-Days has sent too many characters out of Salem the last few years-mostly on islands-so having Steve be in Salem so fast is cool with me.

You can't be serious, Phoenix. Having one of the most popular characters in the show's history and *THE* most anticipated return in at least fifteen years, and then have him dress up as a CLOWN? A clown!?!?!

having him dress up like a clown, is just asking for people to make fun of the show..and get pissed off about patch's return...After hearing about the buttons, i thought he would come back, working as an officer or military in another country...
