Yeah... Michael was a lot nicer than I would've been lol time to send Jacinda back to her side of the street. And honestly, the character of Michael, in general, deserved a much better pairing than this. From the very beginning, he did.

I'm not too sure about this particular conflict for Gio/Emma though. All these months, they always seemed a lot stronger than this, like Gio's new career wouldn't have done a thing to them. Gio did look good though 😉

As for Joss... Cullum really should've aimed a little higher.

  • Forgive my cross-posting. I'm never not amused how GH 180s whenever Frank abruptly loses interest in a character or actor. I've said this before, but their whole deal whenever they fall for someone is

Maybe they should have just dropped a crane on Jacinda after all, sparing us her poorly written and acted goodbye scenes.🤢

Has anyone else noticed that GH is not recognizing the cyclosporiasis outbreak? Yesterday, at the lunch with Chase, Brooklynn, Trina and Gio, there was a bowl of lettuce on the table, and some lettuce in Chase's sandwich. There were also strawberries and blueberries being eaten. Today, Jack's breakfast included a bowl of strawberries and blueberries.

Maybe this was all filmed before the outbreak started. Hopefully they have made adjustments to ensure that this food is no longer shown being eaten by the characters.

I feel like GH's problems extend beyond lettuce.

This is simultaneously true and also really, really funny.

The cyclosporiasis outbreak feels like it could have been a plot device as part of a bigger story. Like more trouble coming from D.L. Brock's Delice Gourmet.

Something Ron Carlivati would absolutely do, and blame the Brock family in absentia!

Lest we forget, RC's way of commemorating the Prospect Park OLTL mutiny in 2013 involved possibly the worst episode of GH I have ever seen: One of the two dueling "Pickle Lila" relishes is poisoned, leading to several lead GH characters and the stars of the late, unlamented "The Chew" all undergoing violent food poisoning on camera, puking and presumably shitting themselves to near-death on national television while sex pest Mario Batali staggered towards the camera, relish and vomit smeared across his face, bleating 'why? why?!'

Cut to: The unfortunate reintroductions of OLTL stars Roger Howarth, Michael Easton and Kristen Alderson all in the same hour as totally new people.

I am not making this up.

Why would GH care about a lettuce outbreak? lol. No one is watching a soap to see a PSA about bad produce, seriously.

Welp! See ya Jacinda! I actually thought she was okay in her goodbye scenes 🤷‍♀️

The Cody and Serena scenes were super awkward

Gio and Emma having problems because of this stupid music story ☹️

Willow aside. Why is Yuri dropping the kids off with Willow when it's Michael's night with them because he has a date? Michael wasn't even doing anything important at the time.

Sometimes when Joss is onscreen I completely zone out and today I did. She wants an assignment now? Just take the easy J&J money and stop bothering everyone with your spy nonsense.

"Why? Why?I," indeed.

Oh, I wouldn't want to devote a whole story to this. But if it was back in the day and we needed something for the hospital characters to react to for a week or so ...

-- The Jacinda character and story didn't work, but I still felt bad for the actor as I watched those scenes today. Even the most mediocre performer deserves better.

-- I hate the Gio and Emma "I have to rehearse" conflict more than I can say. This is suck material.

-- Regarding Sidwell, why not have Molly call that Sidwell plea deal a success? Carlo Rota is 65, and I never saw Sidwell as being under 60. If he gets 26 years minimum, isn't that a success for Molly? I don't know why I care, since it was just mop-up mess to begin with.

-- I know almost everyone here hates the OLTL Ford brothers, but I liked them. Maybe it's because I'm such a slut for a hot guy with a good body, but I don't know how else to explain myself LOL. I even liked their stories, although I admit they ate up way too much of the show. Still, I'll never understand someone calling any of them "repulsive" unless that refers to their behavior/actions.

Canadian Lol GIF

As for today's show, can Willow go away? I can't stand her anymore. B!tch should be in prison.

Ford was a rapist, no matter how much Ron pretended otherwise. So he repulsed me. The actor was the epitome of bland to me so whatever appeal he was meant to have couldn't overcome how disgusting the character was. My main memory of the show's attempts at pushing him as a sex symbol was when they had him in the same bathing suit as Tuc Watkins for comedic purposes and frankly, I thought Tuc put him to shame. But if other fans liked him, I'm happy for them. I know many did love the Fords and still do. He just wasn't to my taste.

What was really galling to me was when Ron literally xeroxed the Ford character - cocky young reality show producer - onto GH the next year with the dreadful Trey, secret son of Joe Scully and Broadway Legend Connie Falconeri.

I'm not sure 'many' is accurate, but clearly everyone has a fan!

They all sucked but Nate was the worst for me. Lenny Platt (I can't remember Datalounge's name for him lol) looked too old for Dani and ousted Eddie Alderson's Matthew from major story when FV decided Eddie wasn't hunky enough, but Nate was still just a porn joke and afterthought by the end. James at least was sweet thanks to Nic Robuck, albeit terminally boring.

And I suppose a bright spot with Nate is that his terrible story with James' ex Deanna led to Nafessa Williams (notably dreadful on OLTL) ending up in Season 3 of Twin Peaks, where she was a lot of fun!

Hey, maybe this can be their way to finally give Liz something to do! She can take care of a bunch of characters who've fallen sick with cyclosporiasis. And then she can discover they all have eye mites as well.
