Way too many obnoxious pop-ups on that site to bother reading.

I get it, it's the ads that makes the article free which am thankful for. Hate having to pay subscriptions nowadays...

This is NOT the original "Soap Opera Magazine" which died in 1999.

History per wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soap_Opera_Magazine

The name was acquired in 2023 by Squid McGuffey Media LLC. and relaunched as something new digitally. It is currently run by Amber Sinclair, the (currenr or former) managing editor of soaphub.
In March 2026, they applied for a trademark to the name.

This is her bio on the new site:

Edit to add:
On the "soapoperamagazine.com" website, at the very bottom, it says:

"distributes content via its website, social media platforms, and syndication partners including MSN and NewsBreak. Copyright © 2026 Squid McGuffey Media LLC d/b/a Soap Opera Magazine TM"
"A Raptive Partner Site"

This is Raptive Partner:

Personally, I don't care who or where the link came from. People believe anything on the internet. I'm just happy to see positive content for daytime out there in the universe. Let's hope for more.

I saw that and it would be amazing if Ryan Gosling did a "guest" stint on DAYS. He should definitely be a patient of Marlena's and even parody SNL at the same time. Tie it all in.

I know I'm gonna kick myself for throwing this out there, but I had suggested that Ryan Gosling appear to an ill Marlena as an adult version of D.J. Craig - Don and Marlena's child, who died from SIDS - with messages from his dad and John, while Marlena is battling a relapse of her Lyme Disease.

I still think it's a good idea!
