I am intrigued with the Rachel Lewis angle.

I also liked that we got a little update on the Chelsea/Dani dynamic since Dani was a domineering momager and it was good that Chelsea enforced her boundaries with keeping them as mother/daughter (this story reminds me of Brooke Shields and her momager).

Derek seems to have great scene chemistry with everyone, but Ashley. It's fascinating how chemistry works.

SPS was actually more subdue today. A little of SPS goes a long way..imho

-- Ashley spends an hour talking and gossiping behind the nurses' desk and then announces it's time for her break 😂. Of course, she also made out with Grayson behind that desk, which they should rename HR Central.

-- Yes, Derek isn't a saint, but he's absolutely right about Grayson being "sketchy." The guy is a criminal.

-- Jacob laughably spent the entire show holding his bruised side -- even on the elevator where he looks like Urkel with a beard.

-- Naomi said her "instincts kicked in" and told her someone intentionally hurt Jacob. Wow, she's a real Sherlock Holmes.

-- I still can't get past the plasma exchange with that tiny container that looks like it carries your lunch.

-- I have no idea what Vanessa's game was with the Leslie chat. Since the premiere, I've heard that "Vanessa is more than she seems," but I've yet to see any of that.

Same here. It's occurred to me that the ONLY reason in moving Derek from the Unseen Fire Station to the Unseen Free Clinic is so he can be bumped in the head by a Plasma Thief. Then our dull & dimwitted heroine Ashley can blame herself and cry "woe is me" for his untimely demise.

Does anyone else think Grayson doesn't even have a mama who's in the nursing home with Parkinsons? He always seems completely disinterested when Ashley starts babbling about all the advances in Parkinsons research. I've often thought every aspect of Grayson's "tragic life" is a fabrication.

I thought RACHEL LEWIS was just a random name that Smitty saw in Beautiful's computer when he hacked into the list of lab employees. He'd learned Greyson answers to a "her", and Smitty seemed to be under the impression "she" would be a co-worker of Greyson in the lab. So Smitty scrolled through the list of lab employees and zeroed-in on Rachel Lewis, completely oblivious of the fact the famous "she" who gives the orders might be Chief Lia.

Vanessa is all over the place. What is her goal with chatting up Leslie? Don't let your so-called "bestie" hear that you think Leslie is a swell kinda gal. Also, wasn't the selling point for Vanessa that she could accept Joey "as is"? It's moments like the ones at the casino where she's trying to force the issue of Joey having a friend. The dynamic is weird to me, it's as if she sees Joey as this lump of clay that she needs to mold somehow. Don't get me wrong, I don't care but why is this aspect taking up so much of the show when it makes very little sense?

Is Dani doing modeling full time or is she still partner in the modeling agency? Either way, I don't see her actively working in either capacity. Instead we see her trying to carve out partnerships that don't make any sense, like trying to partner her daughter's handbag to the clothing line that she is modeling for, without even running the idea past the actual designer.

I can't bring myself to care about this clinic, sight unseen.

It's great that they decided to extricate Leslie from being a thorn in Ted's side but with all the sweet talk about Marcel, I can't help but think, if anyone bothers to solve the Laura Peterson case, Marcel will likely come in handy for Leslie, if she's trying to tamper with some evidence.

There were some little moments of interest but it seems, nothing of significance. No general movement in terms of story.

-- @DramatistDreamer I feel the same about Vanessa and Joey. The writing is at best all over the place.

Makes no sense to me that she wants to chop it up with Leslie. And yes, she constantly talks about loving Joey for who she is, even though we're getting all these discussions about how he needs changes in his life.

Regardless, why is Joey listening to her? He had an off screen talk with Marcel and hated it. That was followed by another one of Joey's "I like myself as I am" speeches that we've had a dozen of.

We've had 14 months of wondering if Vanessa had some ulterior motive and plan regarding Joey. Is that what this is? Because I'm tired of it.

-- The more talk we get about this free clinic (which now will offer free dental work!) the more it's clear that not having a clinic set is a mistake.

With Derek being critical of Grayson again I wonder if Grayson will accuse Derek of stabbing him as a scapegoat to cover up the actual reason he gets stabbed.
