I assume she will be back too, and Frank just finally cut her to recurring when her contract ended or told he couldn't work around her schedule anymore. She said in her last farewell post she knew she might be let go, so I assume she's okay with that.

Knowing Kirsten I doubt she is lol. But this whole thing is just sad. She was doing very good work the last two years, and I wanted to see her utilized seriously again. Oh well.

Oh, I am sure she isn't, but she did make a huge deal of saying that she was on her own social media lol. I agree she was doing good work the last few years. That being said I am personally over her and the situation. If she can't commit for more than a few weeks after months off AGAIN, find someone who can or write Maxie off.

Yeah, I'm over it. It's time for an ultimatum or a HEA.

I have to assume that Kristen and Frank worked out a plan for her to return long enough to wrap up Maxie's part of the story, which she did. They went out of their way to get that done as fast as they could. Maxie will still be in Port Charles and pop up when needed but clearly will not have a major role anytime soon, if ever again.

Finola is more concerning as Anna left in such a depressing place and the way they had Valentin move onto Carly makes me wonder if they don't think she will be back anytime soon.

It was discussed here. I felt we all were curious. Especially because it was not anything confirmed. I was simply asking since we had our discussion about it...had it been confirmed? Doesn't seem like it has. So still a rumor for now.

Well hopefully if they do that, they will let her tie up the Sidwell/Deception part of her story, too.

At this point, I also think if they are going to rush her story, they might as well give her, Spin, and the kids (whether Frank likes it or not) a HEA.

Don't know if it's true, but someone in Datalounge reported that new higher-ups at Disney balked at Kristen getting another lengthy time off.

If it is true, I don't blame them. They cannot allow actors to call the shots like that.

If Frank and Kristen knew from the beginning that her return would be this brief, I fault them for giving the audience false hopes.

Most of us were really happy to have KS back and looking healthy -- and ready for a good story with her. Instead, we got a quick in-and-out that was really disappointing.

The audience was really cheated.

I can potentially buy a story like that about Kirsten. But we'll have to see. I am sure we'll see Maxie again.

Sidenote: I haven't been back there in forever (the post-aughts interface and authentication system is impossible for me to navigate, nor would I pay to post in that hole lol) but from what I've heard from a couple friends the Datalounge of today is mostly just an clickbait aggregate of random online bullshít and nonsense regurgitated knowingly by randos who have no idea what they're talking about. I'm sure some of what they hoover up from other forums is true. But it's not like 20 years ago when we had legit insiders at several soaps. I imagine poor Gregorzick from the Cincy Soap Hood (IYKYK) is dead by now.
