(Brad was initially supposed to be just the spoiler) But that was over a decade years ago and Brad has become so much more pathetic since then, and still has minimal depth. I lost all patience I once had for Brad long ago.

I honestly should’ve known, after all of Lucas’ speeches lately. That’s just GH’s style.

I’m really liking the messiness of this whole situation but I also feel like this didn’t need to happen. Marco was a really likable character with a lot of potential, despite the obvious shift half way through his storyline. Plus, they finally invested in the character of Lucas for the first time in years and to see it end like this is kinda sad.

I wouldn’t mind a Brucas reunion but I would much rather have preferred a full on triangle.

And while I thought Van Hansis and Carlo Rota did a good job today, I have to admit I’ve seen better. On GH and on other soaps.

Btw, shoutout to Finn Carr too. He’s been killing it these past few episodes.

But the “lulls” on GH are less and less frequent, and the show does a pretty good job of laying the groundwork over 4 to 6 months for stories to climax in a satisfying way, as they did this week.

IMO GH has provided two genuine shocks so far this year: Willow paralyzing Drew and Rocco shooting Cullum. That’s not bad.

GH knows how to shake sh*t up when there's a lull. But at the very least, they know how to course correct pacing and make each day matter and these past few days have been intense. I didn't realize I'd feel so sad about Marco dying. I gasped. I'm already annoyed that this will just lead to a Brad and Lucas reunion who are past their expiration date. Marco was a believable gray character who was sacrificed for a short term shocking death. Now his potential and chemistry with Lucas has just been wasted.

Still, GH has my full attention again.

All I'm taking from these comments is that the show has wasted another character that had great potential, an excellent intro, and an actor who can acted AND look good.

And yet we have Valentin in on his 523th return to whining and Jacinta being in the spot where a stronger (and preferably legacy) actress should be.

Ugh I really was hoping the show understood what they had with Marco but alas. Brad and Lucas does absolutely NOTHING for me. Zilch. What a damn waste.

Jason is protecting Sonny’s grandson and he’s nowhere to even be found in the story 🙄

I'm just glad they didn't write Jason as presumed dead again, or put him in GH's umpteenth coma plot. This is what they should have done the last time Steve left! Writing that he was either in prison or missing would have been better than presumed dead x2.

(I don't think she's advocating for/against a Spencer return. I think she simply included the billboard as a thing that happened. She has pics and vids with various costars through the years.)

I agree that killing off Marco (while, ugh, sparing Cullum) is a waste, although these episodes were very effective. Worse than Lucas inevitably reuniting with Brad is the fact that he’s likely to be backburnered entirely now.

Sonny’s absence from this whole thing is indeed wild (and refreshing). I was also surprised that the show didn’t put Carly in that parking lot with Britt, Danny, et al. at the end.

Congrats to Tabyana on four years. I found her IG post somewhat poignant because it reminded me how much the writing for Trina fell off after the show fired Shannon Peace.
