After a month and a half of good momentum, I don't mind a meh one.One of the complaints in 'season 1' was how isolated Derek was so I'm guessing he's going to be an EMT at either the hospital or at the clinic. And SPS not liking him makes me chuckle a little bit.Call me crazy, but ever since Tracey Thomson joined as co-headwriter.. I noticed that Ashley has improved in terms of how she's presented. Chelsea is giving off Allison vibes to me. Madison... I hope you don't regret including her more into your life.

Apart from her psycho element that rings true to me. Someone I know is like that, suspicious/negative about new people. Calls themselves a realist... Edited February 2Feb 2 by Paul Raven
February 2Feb 2 Member I've come to the conclusion Tomas is actually an automaton. With a good reprogramming and adding an emotion sensor, he might be good.

February 3Feb 3 Member -- Today's episode was kind of flat to me. It did set up a few things, but without much energy.-- Kat was all of a sudden very calm and measured in her conversations. Whats up with that? It's like someone gave her Valium. I prefer Kat when she's Kat.-- I'm stunned that BOT TOMAS continues to get this much airtime. He can't make anything work, and it's nuts that no one at BTG can see it. With Kat in this "I'm calm" state, his scenes were even worse -- there was nothing to distract from how bad he is.-- Lots of Eva propping, especially by Izaiah.-- We still know next to nothing about Izaiah, not more than we knew on his first day in town. All he does is go from drinking at Uptown to Eva's for sex.-- Ashley's character is definitely improved as of late. Jan's, however, is worse. Are they moving her out of the have-nots? If so, it's a mistake.-- They replayed Chelsea telling Madison "I'm just a girl standing in front of a girl...." I hope this is meant to be a signal that Chelsea lives in fantasy land.-- Leslie is doing the hiring at the free clinic??? Leslie??? If you needed a reminder that this is a soap, that's it.-- The Leslie and Shanice showdown (at that godawful coffee shop) was uneventful and disappointing. We usually get really good barbs from Leslie and really snappy comebacks from Shanice. I don't think we got either today.

February 3Feb 3 Member Jan has always annoyed the hell out of me. We can't get anyone else for this role? No soap vets?
February 3Feb 3 Member I enjoyed Monday’s ep on this snow day, although I do agree the Shanice/Leslie scenes should be a lot more spicier and have some additional tension. Tomas is dead weight in the quad. Time to cut him loose and make it a triangle.

February 3Feb 3 Member I did enjoy Izaiah calling Kat out on her hypocrisy. She claims her brand is about empowering women, but she is always tearing one down or being super judgemental. Although she was right about Eva, Kat did come at her hard before she even knew her especially about her style. It seemed like her early interactions with June had a similar disdain. Then when her mother was wearing the dress and dating, she ran to Gran to complain. Like girl! Your mom is a grown woman who is now divorced. Let her live a little. And if she really had an issue with it, she should have talked to her mom, not ran to her grandmother to do something about it.Ashley and Derek have become way more enjoyable apart. I actually don't mind Ashley as of late.I surprisingly didn't mind the episode as much.
February 3Feb 3 Member Derek and Tomas are the weak links of the male cast. Phase them out and elevate Kial and Grayson.
