LOL at Cody reading Pride and Prejudice. Tracy's funny reaction to it was like mine, but then I began to understand it all better as the episode went along. I do have to say, his insecurities about this is a bit of a turnoff. I thought/wished he was more confident. But gosh Josh is so handsome haha. I ended up really loving these scenes today with Tracy.

It's like the writers knew viewers would need the genealogy lesson today. I appreciated it as a new viewer.

I love the Ava/Lucy rivalry. I don't know their backstory and why they're enemies, but I love it.

So they FINALLY looped back around. Thank you for the tea. ;) For it to work, they BOTH have to be on-screen. Not just talked about.

He would look hotter if he played a bad guy though. This type of guys are sexier when they play bad guys.

I think he would, too. He almost went bad himself when he found out about Michael/Willow the first time around and showed he could do it acting-wise, but the writers pulled back.

That's what GH needs: a young Terry Lester. Someone who generates heat (and story) just by walking into a room. Someone who could share chemistry with just about every woman in Port Charles (and even a few men, lol). Because, hunny? Cameron Mathison? Ain't it.

Hehe. You betta speak on it. Walks into a room and screams sex on a stick.

Not just because they were handsome, or because they were in good shape, but also because they were self-confident. (In many cases, self-confident to the point of being cocky, which brings up all sorts of personal issues that I need to discuss with a licensed therapist, lol).

But @Vee and others here are right: JS/Chase comes across too often as a manchild, trapped in a sexless marriage (to one of Tevye's daughters) that makes all those rounds of Doctor you played as a child with your next door neighbor's kid look like Emmanuelle by comparison. Which is why it confuzzles the hell out of me as to why anyone would want Willow - even Good Willow - to get dicked by that boy. I mean, seriously, make that make sense for me, lol.

Oh, I completely understand. Like when we discussed my crush at first sight on Drake Hogestyn (RIP) over seeing John Black for the first time in his shirtless glory. That...that was a MAN.

I definitely agree that he comes across as a manchild. I've picked on him for that for ages...especially when he and BLQ were dealing with Linc. Even now he comes across like a guy having a temper tantrum than a man, but he physically is one and I can't hate on a good onion. hehe. I am going to holler when Chase has his downfall though. Willow will probably do it him to be spiteful. But also...good boy/bad girl combo...which Willow is currently being. But to take it deeper, it has been established and even discussed how Willow loves to have a man be her hero...all the way back to her cult days. It's why her hero worship of Drew worked and started their affair. And as has been established and called out...Chase does love to save a hoe and has a hero complex. So I can see why it could (hopefully) happen between them.

He was so attractive, and I didn’t watch Loving, my ABC affiliate didn’t air it. I only saw him in the soap press back then. And Robert Tyler’s Trucker.

Chase is attractive but he is so self righteous and frankly stupid that I can’t wait for him to realize how wrong he is.

Which means his rep preceded him. ;) And mmmmmm...I so forgot about Trucker.

Yeah, I'm happy we are all on the same page and ready for Chase's downfall.

I am one of those not a fans. But I cannot argue that he’s incredibly attractive and he does have a lovely voice. Truthfully, I blame the show for his ill fitting onscreen character and connections.

Same.

I do find RP attractive and actually has aged like fine wine and I find Nathan more attractive now than I did then. But I liked the Nathan/Maxie relationship before I stopped regularly watching.

That said...this is all ill-fitted.

Do you think Esme should return if they redeemed her? We are lacking a bad girl on the show and Esme would be perfect...

No. Esme wore her welcome out. Much like Nelle. The show bleeds those villains until they are dry and then keep them for an extra year after.

Sami Brady was sort of a teen vixen; but she was also desperate and she raped Austin. So not really the archetype.

NO. As mentioned, the writers took her too far to want to have her back...something they have a bad tendency of doing ALSO SEE: Peter, Cyrus...

It's a shame for Esme because she was a lightning rod for the young set (Cameron, Joss, Trina, Spencer) who needed a kick which she gave. Going back to what I said earlier here and a discussion in another thread, it's been agggggggesss since a show had a young vixen and Esme did have that going for her. So much so she did not need to be rushed through story. And unlike Sami Brady, they didn't even try to give her softer edges so you understood where she was coming from.

Sami did TWO and I do mean TWO full years of scheming. And was there for that show's young set. Not unlike Esme. So very much the archetype that I was discussing earlier. And I can't say this enough....and did say across threads...A SANE vixen. ;) But like I said earlier...the writers took it too far, banishing Esme to the psychos listed above. Which is a shame. The potential was there.

When was the most recent teen vixen on a soap that was fun to watch? Brittany on Y&R?

Exactly! Which is why Esme stood out when she arrived.

At least they acknowledged the incest fears between Danny and Charlotte today.

I just feel like if two characters have to figure out how closely related they are, maybe just don’t do it.
