I also would really like some actual ChelseaKat business drama. Preferably with a rival.

I am all for Bill running against Martin, but they need to get deeper into the political arena for that to work and flesh it out as opposed to the vague stuff they did early on. We all knew Martin was never really going to run for president and there's a certain specificity they obviously have to elide, but you can still add more detail to that part of their world.

I'd also be very much for a proper courtroom battle between Bill and Naomi.

Agreed.

I was hoping with Martin being in the political sphere that we were going to get a Capitol-lite story with Martin on Capitol Hill getting involved in all the shady sh*t that goes on. I still feel like it is a plot that can write itself with all that is going on in the political sphere now. At times, I wish they would've made Joey a fellow politician/Martin's rival instead of a mobster. Hell, many politicians move like mobsters, so why not do that? I was also hoping that Martin's secret would've been a Chappaquiddick-esqe incident where he accidentally killed a lover in a drunken fury and Vernon and Anita covered it up.

I think Dani would be a good internal rival for ChelseaKat, as early on they teased that Chelsea v. Dani tiff, but it was dropped. As aforementioned, it would be fun to see Dani infiltrate the brand (in hopes of finding herself after Bill) and cause tension with Chelsea AND cause it between Chelsea and Kat.

Lastly, Bill's business partner could've been the first major arc villain on the show outside of Leslie; he should've been knowledgeable of all Bill's antics (more specifically threatening to harm Eva/Leslie) and blackmailed him into defending him. He could've learned of Hayley's true identity. And learned of Martin's incident, Vanessa/Doug's issues, and dangled Ted's affair over his head. I would've had him assault (not r*pe) Naomi, which rattled her initially but eventually light a fire for her nail him. However, we'd end up in a classic "whodunit" with someone like Doug or Randy (Hayley's cousin) being the true killer.

And I am sure that a lot of it might do with budget constraints right now, so I am hoping that the budget gets expanded.

Again, these are suggestions they could've taken, and I adore the show for what they do give us. I just want more for it.
