To be fair, I remember both and liked both.

Also you are proving my point. ;P Because they would have complained if she immediately got story from the jump like soap audiences always do with new characters. By the two year mark, she earned having a story about her because FF truly made Mimi hers.

I sort of liked the first Phillip too. The original Mimi I truly barely remember except the fact she had really pretty curly hair lol.

I still think Mimi mostly falls into the sidekick role even if she eventually got story. It's like Sami's friend Jamie walked so Mimi could run lol. Seriously, what ever happened to Jamie (besides marrying RKK in real life)?

Yaaaaassss I remember that curly hair. lol.

Not you bringing up Jamie. I loved Jamie. And yes, she did walk so Mimi could run. I always thought that as well.

Jamie vanished after hints of her finally maybe going after her crush on Lucas. And a drink in the face from Sami for helping Nurse Lynn expose her if I remember correctly.

Lol! I always hoped one day during Lucas's many absences he'd return married to Jamie.

Bree Williamson as Jessica on OLTL

David Fumero as Christian

I'm not sure how quickly Bree was accepted. I think some struggled with her, especially as years passed. I remember how bad I thought her first scene was, kicking a soda machine.

How about Keith D Robinson on BTG? I guess we have accepted him as Ted, but I think a lot of us would have been interested to see how Maurice Johnson would have handled the role had he stayed.

Hehe. Great minds.

I was always rooting for Lucas. With her. With Original Taylor. With Sami.

I think the audience at best grudgingly tolerated Bree's Jessica for the first 2-3 years due to the terrible writing (and the unpopular pairing with Antonio) until Tess. Then she garnered fans with her and Nash. I was never a Tess fan. I tolerated Bree's Jess, I think she worked hard and had some good stories or pairings (Brody and Jessica) but it was never the same for me.

Sucks that the character became roadkill for recast Emily/Nik, but at least Brannon got the Emmy for his trouble, and a lookalike flew off in a plane with Rebecca, Emily's out-of-the-blue twin (which made zero sense given the Paige Bowen story, but hey...).

I'd bring back Zander today. I had always given him up as permanently dead until I took one look at Ghost Zander a few years ago when he appeared to William Lipton's Cameron and said 'yeah.' Chad is a stone cold silver fox today. Why not have him come back out of witness protection or WSB custody or something to awkwardly attempt to re-form something with Liz or his son? It doesn't need to be a huge long-term thing but would pass the time for a while, maybe be a spoiler to Liz and Lucky or whoever.

The same goes for Brad Maule's ghostly appearances as Tony, though Tony would stay dead - I don't remember who it was on the forum who suggested he return as some sort of scheming lookalike con man who tries to get one over on the family, but I think Brad would kill that role. Why not?
