@BeeLol Thanks for the clarification. Missed that. The conversations I watched didn't mention it. Guess back from the dead isn't such a big thing in GC that it doesn't warrant more than a passing mention.

And it's not like he was presumed dead. Nick was right there when he died.

The explanation for this will be laughable.

Maybe like Phillip and Diane, hospital workers etc were paid off!

Nick and Sharon are just acting like it’s some minor inconvenience that Matt is alive and Nicks attitude is like “Yeah I guess I’ll swing guy and confront this guy when I get around to it!” And now that Noah is already out of his coma, that is overshadowing the Matt situation too because they’re obviously going to be very happy with the good news. The pacing of this storyline is just so off.

Noahs coma could have gone on longer while Nick and Sharon are secretly trying to dig up information about Matt Clark before the confrontation even happens but we have already gotten to the point where Noah is awake & Nick confronts Matt, all in the matter of a few episodes. It doesn’t even feel like there’s a story happening here at all. Just one “shocking” moment after another which comes off as a desperate attempt to get the ratings up. I hope the audience doesn’t fall for it. I’m just about done watching for awhile until JG is finally out..

That seems likely.

At this point it seems like Josh Griffith is throwing random ideas to a wall and picking the ones that stick.

I am still really enjoying Claire and Holden, is his past with Audra revealed to the audience or are we still waiting?

I agree, this entire Matt Clark story has the oddest pacing. I’m not bothered by the wash, rinse, repeat of villains returning from the past but this is just insanely odd and the stakes feel low. I still can’t forgive that they could have utilized LA for location shoots and had Matt playing games with Nick and Sharon. So many missed opportunities.

I'm a week behind and still on the AI crap, but... are you telling me Nick had been investigating Noah's accident, very suspicious of Sienna, and then running into a back from the dead Matt Clark, his fiercest enemy, he has not made a connection between Matt and Noah?

Trying to get my head around the LA Noir story.

So Noah is in LA meeting with Mitch/Matt. Was that at Mitch's request or coincidence #1?

The same club that Holden used to work at? Coincidence #2.

Holden has a past with Audra in LA and they both happened to meet up again in GC. Coincidence #3.

Audra has a past with Noah also. Coincidence #4.

Audra hooks up with Tucker who has connections to GC. Coincidence #5.

I don't mind HE as Claire and Holden is hot. However the fact she was on before is annoying as is the Claire storyitself.

She should have been the daughter of Matt Miller. Matt dies and Claire/Jordan come out of the woodwork to make a claim. Kinda like Leslie on BTG. It would still be new blood for the Newmans w/o the convoluted back story.

Cole could have still come back for Victoria and maybe Reed could return to give Victoria some parenting role.

Today’s CDN Episode

Spoiler

Noah has a flashback of him making out and about to have sex with Sienna. OMG how awkward must this have been for the actors? They played mother and son on Days right? I just.. can’t.

Lucas Adams has amazing chemistry with Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow, as well as the other members of the Newman family he has interacted with thus far. I am not surprised they took the Jane Elliot/Wally Kurth route with him and Tamara Braun. If the chemistry is there (which it is), then I say play on it. Really enjoying non-Jabot/Newman stories. Looks like Sally McDonald becoming co-EP is helping Josh Griffith shift his focus back into the writing side of things. Let's hope we continue to see some improvement as he continues on with November sweeps!

I'm also warming to the Abbott remodel, outside of the damn couch.

Still only an occasional viewer, but come on, Noah's face was unwrapped after days, and he is completely clean-shaven?  How did that happen?

Those scrapes didn't seem to require a full mummification of Noah's head.🤕

It was so ridiculously soapy, when they easily could've shot the hospital room from an angle that obscured the recast face, until they wanted a reveal.

Yes, those bandages looked ridiculous. Maybe Noah could have a few bandages and just have him in shadowy light.

Maybe they saved a few dollars by having an extra play bandaged Noah.

They had to pay for the doctor and the nurse.

BTW Holden looked good in the stretchy pants. And of course Claire kept her bra on during passionate sex.
