I'm glad they decided to bring up Andre not ever being photographed. This was hinted at in the first week of the show. Andre wanted to take a photograph of his aunt and uncle. Something having to do with the hospital if I recall. Kat, out of nowhere,  offered to take a picture of Andre and he refused nervously.

Yeah, I would rather Ted and Nicole continue on their separate parts (whether he's straight man to June or SPS since the writers seem bound and determined to have Ted that way while Nicole gets to move on). It will definitely be a different story than Dani's and keep both sisters interesting. And if some time down the road the writers want to go there with Ted and Nicole getting together again, at least that will be in their back pocket.

The only way I can see Ted and Nicole ever reuniting in the future is if it either turns out that Eva is not Ted's kid after all or maybe she's actually Ted and Nicole's daughter that was swapped with Kat somehow. As long as Eva is basically a reminder of Ted's infidelity, I just can't see Nicole ever taking him back.

On the other hand, if Ted isn't actually Eva's father, then who is? Alan, Leslie's dead husband? I can't think of anybody else that could be her father at this point.

  • Not the con artist/child bride meeting up with her 'cuz' to keep up appearances. But Dani and Vanessa know otherwise. How interesting.
  • So, Pamela is the one conversing with Ridge Forrester with the intent of relaunching Dani's modeling career. That is very exciting!
  • So, we are really going to try and poison Bill Hamilton at this point? Good luck, because I do not think it will work.
  • Pamela's positivity and enthusiasm are fantastic.
  • Oh my... not boo-boo the fool. That is hilarious. But good on Dani for not falling for the performance the con artist/child bride continues to put on.
  • Whelp. Joey knows about Randy's involvement (or hanging out with) his 'cuz'. Whoops.
  • I appreciate Dani calling out Vanessa's involvement with Joey, considering she can speak a bit from personal experience where this subject is concerned.
  • Not hooking up with the con artist/child bride. Whew. And I feel like Joey is not buying what Randy is selling.
  • What man goes into a woman's purse? I would never. Even with permission, I would never. Uh-oh. She is about to be caught! And not the 'fraud alert,' oops.
  • Vanessa is coming in HOT HOT HOT!
  • Well, there we have it: Naomi is not pregnant. But why is Jacob coming in as hot as he is? He knew Naomi did not want the baby and knew it was unlikely she would even have it. Like, you cannot have it both ways, sir.
  • Oh, Vanessa is playing it to her advantage and I love that. The gloves are coming off bit by bit.
  • Nothing like a post-sex drugging. OK, Ms con artist has watched Snapped before.

Notes:

  • Welcome to Beyond the Gates Thorsten Kaye's Ridge Forrester! And 'in scenes' with Cady McClain's Pamela. It is an All My Children reunion! And it is very nice to see the former Forrester Creations set for the final time.
  • Aw, the autumnal and Halloween-centric decorations at Uptown are very cute.
  • God. Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) is just magical. Pure talent and a brilliant find by Kim Coleman.

And the poisoning begins !!!!!!

I wonder if the poison Naomi ingested will do anything or do you have to get ingesting it for it to have an effect  ?

I also like that they're digging into Andre's past now.

Overall, things are starting to gel for me right now.

Same. This is feeling more like the show it should've been from the jump. More character mysteries. These characters were created with too much interesting background to just go to waste.

I think because she didn't have much of it, I don't think any significant harm will come to her... but I have a feeling that the blood sample that was drawn might come into play down the line.

Very interesting that Andre is apprehensive about having his picture taken. There might be some dirt for Bill to find after all.

Vanessa assumed that Dani would agree with her because she's impulsive and worldly, but Dani is not stupid. The difference is that Dani was more willing to flat out call her number whereas Nicole was more diplomatic. She does want Donnell to leave so she can be with Joey and Dani saying it set her off.

The last scene was very classic and something that felt very 80s/90s soap. Hayley poisoning Bill slowly and him being totally unsuspecting it so entertaining to watch.

Poor Jacob.

But at the same time, I really think Jibre Hordges got a chance to flex his acting muscles today. I'm interested in seeing where he and Naomi go from here.

Nicole was not going to forgive him, she would have slept with him and then gave him the same "it's over" answer afterwards.

Sounds familiar, *cough* Smitty *cough*

-- BTG really does commit to a bit. Randy has been showing up in public places -- when he should be skulking in private -- since day one. He's gotta be one of the dumbest criminals alive.

-- Also dumb? Tacky wannabe killer Hayley, who gets the killer potion from "Sammy" at popular Uptown, and makes sure the bartender hears them.

-- Randy's text about the potion ("Use a little at a time, let it build up") was HILARIOUS for its vague directions.

-- And then dumb Randy tells Joey he and Hayley are hooking up?🤣 Oh, my sides! 😂

-- Joey was also a luagh riot, giving Randy the names of casino losers who owe him big money on a 3"x4" slip of paper from a mini-spiral notepad.

-- Is Randy the best Golden Corral Casino Mobster Joey can do?

-- Naomi and Jacob desperately need another set. Seeing her again doing her legal work on her bed is awkward as hell, and it's not cutting it.

-- Pamela is back! Cady McClain returns with a much stronger accent than last time -- keep it up, Cady! We love the camp and the absolute trainwreck you are!

-- Is Thorsten Kaye supposed to bring eyeballs to Gates? Because LOL. And I thought Forrester Creations was an iconic prestige brand. You mean they want an ad campaign with a couple who ran off to Vegas to marry and who don't even live together? Very romantic, Ridge!
