As much as I feel it's gone on too long...I believe it was starting when I quit regularly viewing and Erza first appeared...I do (did?) like the long-term planning of Drew letting his always-simmering rivalry with Jason be the throughline to go after Sonny/Jason through (mostly) legal means. Especially since it was touching on the fact that people who realistically shouldn't be (ie Laura, Anna) are always propping Sonny. A mobster. Who killed an FBI agent just a year ago. How? But that's me looking forward nuances when I know better.  Perhaps Erza will take that up since Drew is done for now. But I feel it will vanish.

Agreed, the Erza is probably a complete afterthought now, unless he is the one who pulled the trigger.

Same. I'm frustrated that Beyond the Gates and General Hospital air simultaneously in my market, but at least daily episode clips of GH easily available online.

Today's episode wasn't very promising on paper, but I ended up really enjoying it. I usually feel like Chris McKenna's Brennan is sleepwalking through his scenes, but he finally came alive in those scenes with Valentin. And even though Charlotte could have stayed up in the attic indefinitely for all I care, I thought the young actress playing teen Charlotte did a good job with the material and had a nice rapport with Alexa Havens. 

I also really liked the scenes with Ava, Kristina, and Alexis scheming how to cover for Ric's disappearance; those three work really well as unlikely allies. The Five Poppies storyline gets sillier and sillier, but I enjoyed all the campy spy movie touches, like Britt's ankle bracelet set to explode in an hour. The only part of the episode that didn't work for me was the Molly/Cody storyline; I'm not sure if this means they're really over, and I can't bring myself to care.

I mean...unless they go with a love/hate relationship with Laura  ...but yes.

Lol!  I saw her today and almost thought it was the same actress, but I didn't hear 'PAPA' uttered incessantly so I realized it was a slight improvement.  The one-two punch of a Charlotte/Valentin return was not ideal.

My only hope is that Britt will get blown up in 59 mins from her ankle monitor lol.

Honestly, though, today was a decent show considering I hate like 90% of the characters featured.

Next to Violet, I know you might see red. lol. I am annoyed that it seem they put Val up front. I thought he was not showing up until end of week.

This Charlotte reminds me of a young Scarlett Johansson.
