She believed Joey didn’t have Doug killed after literally two seconds of convincing.

I feel like once she gets over some of her grief, she will get a clue about Joey.

As I don’t like the character, I don’t even care if she figures it out. She’s made her bed.

Now she can lie in it.

The Doug/Vanessa/Joey story is such third rate Sopranos, without the budget, the lighting, the acting, the nuance. All characters involved act so stupid.

Joey is the biggest fail. He's always mugging the camera, his demeanor screaming "hey, I'm a mobster." His character should have more humor and charm; there should be some question as to how evil he is. To have him so quickly resort to murder and get away with it twice now is the biggest fail. There is no point to having him be such a monster.

This man is still watching, obsessing and posting about BTG? LOL - I kind of love it. I wish we knew the full story.

The dialogue on this show is rough, very paint-by-numbers with an occasional one-liner or pop-culture reference to break up the monotony, and some of the actors really struggle to make it sound natural (looking at you, the overly earnest Jibre Hordges). I didn’t enjoy yesterday’s episode at all.

I feel like if they’re going to do this theatrical style, they need lush scoring to support it. Otherwise, the forced melodrama feels really awkward.

💯 agree!!! Especially the dialogue around sex and intimacy feels unrealistic. I swear at times I am starting to wonder if some of these writers lack real relationship experience. Authentic love scenes don't sound like that... And the actors do struggle to make it more believable. I'm way past the point of calling this growing pains. The show's decline has been noticeable to me for months now.

TBH I think MVJ needs to step down and let others take over HW duties, I think she has her moments but IMO she's not cut out to be a HW. Let her just be the show runner and write scripts  now and then

Idk

I mean, I’m liking the story ideas but the B&B-like style and the GH-like propping isn’t helping.

Maybe some producers need to step down first, IMO.

Flaws and all, BtG is still more enjoyable than the hot garbage that's Y&R.
