LOL! You think so. She wasn't THAT bad. LOL!

I did better old age makeup when I was in college theater 😂😂. It’s freaking Atlanta, we do not have a shortage of older actresses they could've used here 😂

I agree. Most folks on this board are old school soap fans, but when I read comments about the show on other sites they think the stories are taking too long. A lot obviously new to daytime TV.

The show needs to find a good medium.

It’s actually funny to see how different perceptions are away from this board.

I won't dispute that. There are a plethora of older actresses out there they could have used. I'm thinking someone gave a friend a job.

They are out of control out there, but it's just so awesome to see people engaged.

The online black audience is so into the show. Outside of my own enjoyment, I’m so excited my people have a daytime drama full of other people that look like them and it’s actually entertaining to boot. I only pop in this thread on occasion now because I actually like the show and seeing so many people here not like it kinda takes the fun away for me.

Chilllleeee (to the bold part) I feel you on that.

Yes, it's great to see majority skin folks on a daytime TV network show.

Oh my, how long is this victim mentality going to continue? We get it: you love the show and hate seeing criticism. There are plenty of positive threads out there (apparently), so why focus on this one?

Who exactly are you aiming that at?

What exactly was said, where anyone is playing victim? I'm confused.

Happy 6 Months to BTG (and season 1 for the cast/crew)! I can't wait to see where the show is in another six month and beyond! It's been such a delight having a US soap that I anticipate watching daily. It hasn't been perfect but having seen the beginning of so many soaps, they got a lot more right that many of the others.

I also agree that the SilkPress/Barbara reveal was planned. Just off the Eva cover story alone...which has now been revealed as foreshadowing. Nor is it the first time they showed has foreshadowed. (Brownie Boy anyone?) In fact, I remember someone mentioning during Repeat Week that the first week of the show had a lot of it that made sense now that a few months of BTG has aired.

In any case...HAPPY SIX ANNIVERSARY!!! Let it rip!!!
