So Leo is getting a happy ending?

You actually think days would get rid of Leo?😂

Javi will probably dump him.😂

It's sad, but for unexplainable reasons, they would get rid of Marlena, Kayla, Steve, Maggie, Julie, Chad, and Abe before getting rid of Leo. How this character has managed to last this long is one of life's biggest head scratchers!

They'll kill off Javi and they'll give Leo a hugely dramatic storyline how all of Salem grieves with him because he's such an amazing and witty person, everyone will constantly talk about how bad they feel for Leo that they'll tear down the Horton monument in the town square to erect a statue of Leo in tribute to his incredible resiliency and rename it "Leo Square". Also, they'll have a hot young hunk randomly appear and fall in love with Leo, because he's such an awesome person and the show will rename itself to "Leo of our Lives".

I wonder if they will recast Javi, as I don't think Calderon has had much time or material to make a big impression.

If not, it makes more sense for Leo to be alone anyway.

Is he even worth recasting? He's done nothing but to prop up Leo so far. He's essentially a non-character at this point and his cousin tie to the Hernandez clan isn't that strong. If they had made him Rafes son I could see the effort being worth it, but now?

Nah, just write him out unless his storyline/position in the canvas gets more intriguing in the coming 8 to 9 months.

Probably not, but if they had some story in place or don't want to make Leo even more irrelevant, I could see them doing it.

Javi hasn't added anything to the canvas because of how poorly he has been written.

Doug 3 was written better than him.

I'd just have Javi dump Leo and leave Salem and not recast the role.

Just like with Chad there is no reason to recast Javi.   Both characters should be rested for a while. The writers should be using these openings in the cast to bring on Hortons, Bradys and Carvers.
