CBS foresaw this (or at least someone on the CBS promotional team, LOL)

There was a full CBS network promo done on BTG's debut date Feb. 24,
with stars from various CBS daytime and primetime series, all welcoming BTG to the network.

I hadn't thought of the Hamilton connection until this thread. Devon full-time on BTG would be great but I'd also be pleased if they could use him as a bridge to cross Ana over. She'd be a great addition to the younger set!

They can say that Yolanda is Bill's sister and build off the branch of the family that way.

I really love that idea. I loved Ana and Loren Lott was a great recast. Shame she was not used enough.

where? On Beyond the Gates? Real writing? What? It's certainly *more* boring, which is definitely a feat. I don't know how they did it, but they *actually* made a show that's more boring than Y&R, B&B, and GH. lol

 

 

Watching that promo made me so proud of Maria Arena Bell - her promise finally came true!!!

BTG on its worst day is nowhere near as boring as Y&R.

BTG is far from boring. Y&R on the other hand...

 

Heck Devon is even dressed better over there off the promo.

If anything some of the BTG cast should be visiting Y&R to give that show an energy boost.

The only Y&R cast member I want anywhere near BTG is Sean Dominic in a new role.

I wonder if there could be an opportunity for Devon to connect with Tyrell and Samantha, to tell them he came in through the foster care system, but Drucilla and Neil adopted him when he was a teen. 

I don't know if Devon will appear on BTG long enough for that, but it's something that could be worked into dialogue, even if he goes back to Genoa City shortly thereafter.

Y&R consists of the same conversations over and over again with very little movement with the most unrealistic sounding dialogue. B&B is it's usual melodramatic, campy self so it stands on it's own. Beyond The Gates has exceeded both it's CBS neighbors in terms of actually bringing drama and not just dancing around it or having over the top scenes with no further pay off.
