I can't believe Dani has me feeling sorry for Hayley. OMG...now Dani and Pamela being mean girls to her. And an EASTER reference given its this Sunday. Superb.

And I love that Trisha Mann gets to use her radio talk job history for these product placement moments.

Oooo Naomi giving some tea on Hayley pre-show.

- I'm interested in seeing Cady as she molds the character of Pamela, her first original character.  Pamela is nothing like Dixie nor Rosanna today... she reminds me of Olga (the modeling guru that helped Erica Kane with her career on AMC) and the late Carrie Donovan

Olga Swenson, wow..you pulled out the way back machine. AMC was everything back then.

It's nice to hear the issues from Nicole's point of view now that we have Ted's point of view. Hinting at the ice she will be throwing once she finds out what Ted did?

WHY does Jacob have on a shirt??? lol.

I admit...whether it goes somewhere or not...and I HOPE it does...I do like this soap touches on social issues. Sexual harassment. Bullying. And it feels modern and refreshing. Like the soaps of old in current times though. All My Children comes to mind.

Hehe...great minds...we all have All My Children on the brain and Cady McClain being on today...hehe. Kismet.

Pamela's look when Bill walked over and talked to Dani = a true BFF.

Nice coda at the end. Since Dani/Bill/Hayley are THE A story, I know they will bounce around each other as they get involved in their own separate stories so it was nice to see a NICE moment between the three to keep the peace. Not a cliffhanger day, but I felt it kept up the nice character development from yesterday.

And while I'm thinking of it...I still like Vanessa as Dani's BFF, but I'm worming to Pamela as her BFF, too. This and her last appearance, Cady is definitely getting into her character more and it shows. And she's complimenting Dani a lot more. Like the scene at the country club with Hayley was giving a more sophisticated Gretchen Weiner to Dani's Regina George.

Did ya'll hear DanaLeslieAnnaLulu narrate that bumper? "If its gotta be clean, then its gotta be Tide!" LOL

I did. Her radio host personality history put to great use.

Yeah, I don't mind product placement on soaps, but they need to be gentle with it.  We don't need to be hit over the head with a bottle of Tide or a sprayer of Fabreeze.  I do feel the actors are handling those lines pretty well though.  Much better than Reva Shane (on GL) and Emma Snyder (on ATWT) at Thanksgiving back around 2008 -- both pulling turkeys out of their ovens and exclaiming, "It's a Butterball!!!"   Lordy that was too corny for words.

😂 I will say that this week's episode of Nicole and Anita having full discourse over Febreeze and how Kat wouldn't have it any other way was bordering on too much. Much rather they keep it simple, like Nicole spraying some Febreeze and Anita walks in and expresses how nice it smells and they move on.

Mike's not going to go easily. He's going to do something to get back at Bill and it probably will be violent.

Which of the characters as you guys truly invested in so far? Which ones do you feel you understand on a emotional level?

I hope so. I say use him for all his ability until they find Bill a worthy rival opponent. I originally thought it was going to be Martin, but the writers don't play them often enough for me.

I'm still invested in and loving my TeddyBear despite his transgressions. I'm not sure how I'll feel about the new one coming so we'll see. As for anyone else? I don't know. It feels kinda awkward to me like the writers haven't dug deep enough to make me care much about anyone else. My opinion. It's strange because all of these characters were given interesting character descriptions when this project was first being created.

I mean who would step up as a worthy rival opponent for Bill? Is there anyone on the current canvas?

Invested? Not sure as we still haven't seen them face enough.

Nicole and Bill are most interesting to me but that's also because the actors are strong.

Still I'm waiting to see how he navigates his marriage and relationships to his daughter and if he and Dani can reach some sort of truce. How they balance his ruthlessness with some humanity.

With Nicole she seems very level headed ,so how she deals with the marriage drama will be interesting. I'm still puzzled about how 2 professionals who seem to believe in education and empowerment have a daughter who seems the opposite. I know that can happen, but I feel it should be addressed.

When she was talking about Kat's birthday she was telling her mother how she loved to go all out with the party and this year had to reign it in, which seemed the opposite of how I saw Nicole. That seemed a more Dani thing to do.

So I still need more time to see where the characters go and if there is consistency.

Some of the others eg Vanessa, so far not invested. Her story seems by the numbers to me and isolated.

Martin/Smitty-just a domestic story that could be a straight couple. If the show really wanted to be contemporary I would have liked the gay story to be a little more edgy.
