  • Anita looking snatched in those [p]leather pants! They fit like an absolute glove!
  • Ms. Caroline is back and working! I love her.
  • Go Dani! Go! You're starting to understand the game; play it, girl! Play it!
  • This is the second time Dani has referred to Hayley as a "child bride", and I love it.
  • Sports talk. This is where you officially lose me. Bocce is one I can get into, though, but only if it's casual.
  • Naomi is aggressive, and I adore it. She's got tenacity, and I love it.
  • Dani twisting the kiss onto Bill. That is a classic, bold move, and it'll only tell in time who it backfires on. Oh, here comes the Betty Broderick era for Dani, and I'm here for it.
  • I love that Elon is always in uniform; it shows his power with the police force. And Armstrong is a double-flip? I don't know if I fully believe this story.
  • Well, well... Hayley is beginning to realise some of the piss poor decisions she's made, and I love it. The whore will always be the whore.
  • Dani wants some nookie.
  • Anita and Vernon have beautiful, unique relationships with each of their grandchildren. It's so beautiful to see.
  • Better than chocolate? Nothing is better than chocolate, Dani. N O T H I NG. And even at the thought of another woman, Dani doesn't care yet.

Today's episode was well-written, and of course I then noticed Bibel was on the credits.  She writes character-driven dialogue well, which this show needs right now.  The Bill/Dani scenes turned out to be much better than I expected after how yesterday ended.  She also wasn't too OTT.  I LOVED the flashback to Bill and Naomi when he was being a good father.  That's been one of my criticisms with Naomi/Hayley being friends.  The impact didn't land because we've never seen them get along.  We need flashbacks to them being good girlfriends so this has a bigger impact.

Bibel wrote the breakdown, Judy Tate wrote the dialogue

Ahh well, then I'm happy with Tate's work, with which I'm unfamiliar with previously :)  Happy to see it!

Bibel is breakdown; Judy Tate (scriptwriter) has done some solid scripts. Not one of my faves, but also not one of my least faves. Today was one of her good days.

Wow, I missed it. That's how boring these two are. They put me to sleep.

The end credits had a this portion was brought to you by Tide. I miss the voice over with the music.

The ONLY TWO soaps that I enjoy watching were not shown today because of the [!@#$%^&*] in the White House!!!   GRRRRRRR!

Not a bad episode, but not a great episode either.   This would be more of a recap episode then an excellent episode.  I like that we got the same script writer writing two episodes back to back, but you can see the differences in breakdown writers.

What I liked:

Vernon and Anita gave some good advice to Naomi, but am I bad for hoping she doesn't take the advice so that we can see the vindictive side of Bill come out?  Then we can see some skeletons come of the Dupree closet if that side comes out :)

Good flashback scene between Bill and Naomi.  Without his influence, who knows what kind of hot mess Naomi would have been if she just had Dani's influence.

Nice to see Caroline again and it's good that she's there for Hayley to bounce off of.

The Joey twist makes sense because cops can sometimes use someone on the lower level of criminal activity in order to nab someone higher on the criminal activity food chain.   I wonder if perhaps Doug/Vanessa will be caught up on this.. or if maybe it will turn out that Joey is being used to nab a Dupree (like Martin or Vernon.. for instance).

What I didn't like:

Dani is so one note and played by a one note actress.  The difference between Erica Kane and Dani Dupree is that Erica was played by a likeable performer that makes you laugh while Dani is played by someone that doesn't seem to have that soft touch.

I don't like Bill... but in the Bill/Dani marriage situation, I'm team Bill.  I always support a man deciding to leave his wife, but I do wish they opted to leave before they actually cheat.

Hayley believing Bill.  She has potential as a character and I kind of wish that the show could show her actually working as a paralegal since I don't think her dream of being a lady of leisure will be happening at Fairview Crest.

Ashley/Derek.
