I've already gotten off to another busy week so I OOPS and forgot to watch yesterday's and it's gone. Thank you, CBS. But maybe that's a good thing since I heard that Traci did not in fact have dinner with Amy ON SCREEN. How dare they! I was actually looking forward to Amy interacting with someone that was around when she was originally on the show.

That said...I have to admit that this episode was pretty good. And let me start with what I said yesterday...VA-VA-VOOM, AUDRA!!!! She was looking hot AF for her dinner where she revealed to Nate that she was working for Victor again. In fact, I felt wardrobe was pretty good other than Kyle's suit which did not look as tailored as I was used to it being.

Victor was Victor-ing and that I enjoyed. All the drama with the agent within Jabot was intriguing. And I was surprised they showed the guy ON SCREEN. And now Jack/Kyle are going to try to use him as a double agent. Will we be seeing that on screen as well? I hate to say that, but it has been a different variation to the usual Victor vs Jack storyline for me, and I am curious to see where it goes. And just the fact this latest mess is all because of Nikki and Jack's night in the hotel room. Mileage.

And then Victor playing the long game on Billy since he knows Dumas is working with him. And that causes Billy to lose? Then YES, PLEASE.

I don't like that Audra is working with Victor. And the plan is silly. That said, I did love that they played this beat of Nate being told. At least, Audra told him. Just another stepping stone though in breaking them up I fear.

And speaking of someone who wants them broken up...Holden was looking like a snack. And here comes Claire again. I guess it says something (don't hate me @slick jones;) ) that Claire lights up more with him than she does with Kyle. And Kyle is oooooo so jealous of Holden. Who...has done nothing, but obsess over Audra.

Damian was looking like a snack, too. And I enjoyed his dinner with Lily. And of course, he got to flirt a little. And uh oh at Devon feeling a way now when it was Lily at first.

It was nice to see all parts of the Damian storyline present. And it was alongside all the other stories (even Traci's story got a shoutout). I wish JG could balance better. But at least this episode was good.

-- Billy is AGAIN strategizing about his Abbott Communications from a sofa at the GCAC. What a hard worker! Does he ever do any work? Do any of the companies on this show ever do anything?

-- Daniel is STILL sitting in Crimson Lights telling Tessa his sad, sad story. In what frickin universe is any of this interesting?

-- Tessa, why aren't you home with your wife and your daughter? Do you always go to CL for coffee after leaving your managerial position at Society? And why is failure Josh Griffith chem-testing you with Depressing Daniel?

-- Is it supposed to be a BFD that Kyle and Claire might move in together? Really? The stakes are so low on this show. And no, having Amish Girl tell Kyle she's fallen in love with him doesn't save the scene.

-- WHY AM I WATCHING THIS TRASH???

You're recognizing that it's mostly garbage time.

So pissed that not only this happened off-screen. And that they bum rushed Beth Maitland back off the canvas. Traci should be surrounded by family not speeding off to lick her wounds. The writing for Ashley in the reveal  was fairly crappy as well.

Audra is always top shelf ❤️

Claire is so unnecessary. Holden deserves to be a playa before a dalliance with Audra or fishface.

Jermaine Rivers is definitely a snack, and he flows well with the Winters crew. And, of course Devon is suspicious. He's always suspicious

Yeah that really annoyed me.  How dare JG treat Queen Traci that way?

Yeah, I just don't get it at all. Both in ushering her off the canvas (with Ashley) but no Amy/Beth scene at all. It would have been such a way of connecting to the past and a nice treat to long time fans that are still watching.

She really is, but it could be my love for leather, but she outshined Sally, Summer, and even my precious Ashley in it. She really brought it and I DEFINITELY noticed. :)

Hehehe. Oh, your dislike of Claire around Holden is always funny.

I might have felt a way about the plot twist and I definitely feel a way about him not being the owner of Dumas, but Damian blends in well and has actually be introduced well. I was picking on the Devon thing because out of the two of them...it has been Lily that has been more suspicious than he has so it feels abrupt he is singing her song.

Trying to keep his ass relevant with Abbs on recurring and viewers tired of Devon. I like Devon, but his writing (like the whole show) needs to be better.  I will say that the Winters/Hastings/Lewis story is all that I'm currently liking on Y&R.

Griffith struggles so much, and can't ever write the aftermath of stories (see Sharon off to London and Traci/Ash to New York -- Phyllis' story has morphed into Daniel's). This is also why Ali was dropped like a bad habit, too Theo who?, Etc.

One of the reasons the Damien/Amy story holds some interest is because it's something fresh, not involving characters who've been on-screen for years and subjected to horrendous plots for almost as long.

Watching Billy start up another business when he's had one failure after another is not worthy of my time.

And involved with Sally who's already worked her way through Jack, Adam and Nick while he was with Phyllis, Chelsea and Lily.

Or Kyle being madly in love with Claire when he's already been through this with Lola (who?) And Summer in the past 5 years.

Musical beds is not good storytelling.

No worries. You are in good company. I've been saying that all year so far. I've still shocked it had actual twists and turns in spite of JG haphazardly showing it at some points.

Exactly! Especially that fresh part.

i know those vets aren't going anywhere (although there a few I would cut) but repeating their stories-Sharon in peril, Jack v Victor etc is not the answer.

Giving them something new to do, some new characters to interact with.

Bringing Allie into the Abbotts was a start but they gave her a bland character and no real story. Interesting that Claire , functioning in the same capacity for the Newmans is front and center.

Allie's story could have been similar-raised by a woman she thought was her mother, only to find that her real mom had given her up after she was left a widow by Keemo. Allie could have had mixed feelings for the Abbotts with a lot of angst along the way and the 'mother' given the Jordan role, but less extreme.

A slow journey to becoming an Abbott.

Bring back a recast Tara, wanting rightfully to reconnect with Harrison. Have her get involved with Nick providing some Newman/Abbott drama.Have Harrison turn out not to be Kyle's.

Cole was married to Ashley-have them reconnect, causing jealousy from Victoria.

Is Phyllis seriously still whining about Daniel to Billy? This is how many days now? No. One. Cares.

Can they just cure Amy already and let her move on?

The Sally/Audra and Holden scenes are the only thing interesting...at all...today.

I miss Allie and like a lot of this idea. I was hoping that she would have had at least a little bit of a struggle to being an Abbott. Heck, what if she had an issue with Diane now that Diane is completely in the fold?

I also agree about the repetition. It's part of the reason that I don't mind Victor v Jack at the moment because this round was given a bit of colors. And the round before this round with Jack winning. But I know I'm over the Perils of Kidnapped Sharon.

I totally agree with new people. It is why the Damian storyline has worked.

Just saw the remodel... omg.

First impression is not good. Wonder if there will be a backlash, similar to when the Chancellor estate was remodelled years ago?
