Wait he’s not allowed to laugh at an over the top tweet? He’s clearly seen all the tweets about Ted in his turtleneck.

That's not my point, and I'm sure you knew that.

Just because he has seen all the tweets doesn't mean he has to respond to all of them, particularly one where a poster proclaimed they'd metaphorically riot against the show should the character of Ted, played by a different actor, continue wearing turtlenecks once the change in actor happens.

Again, I just pointed out that I personally would not have responded to such a message, much less used emojis to do so.

I dumped X a long time ago, but if this has actually generated real engagement - it's a huge win for BTG because that means fans care.

And, who knows, if the recast doesn't work, it's not like that can return to OG Ted.

There's plenty of precedent for that in the soap world with my favorite promo being *The Real Greenlee returns to AMC*

LMAO. No EP would want to have a conversation with network executives, nor an actor's agent about bringing back someone they fired after 13 weeks and recast. The GOP dumping Mike Johnson and voting for Ilhan Omar to be speaker of the house is more likely to happen.

Yup. Especially after the last few days.

I didn’t know he was responding to all of them. I saw this one post and questioned what the issue was because I didn’t see a problem. It wasn’t to start an argument.

Oh, no, there's no argument. No worries. I didn't take it that way, and I'm sorry if that's how my words came off to you.

For anyone who has missed the context, MJ has responded to (or reacted to) tons of social media posts about the show, since the show debuted.  For the past four weeks- he has made responses to most tweets about himself and his character, and to many about the show.  He naturally has built up followers due to general viewer interest in the show and all its actors/crew/writers, but perhaps also partially due to his interactive presence.

However, I do agree with above posts saying that he shouldn't be encouraging/retweeting/whatever any viewer's resentment of the next actor in the role, regardless of whether the viewer was serious or joking.

I was joking about a return. I trust MJV's vision completely.

Goofball behavior.

That's how I'm starting to feel... which may be showing the real reason why he's being replaced.
