I too am hoping this is intentional and there will be LGBT intimacy.  I'm also not sure of their chemistry after this first episode, but maybe that too is deliberate.  It is a little jarring given the "racy" intros some of the straight couples got, but as I mentioned in an earlier post, whatever Bill has on Martin gives me hope that the gays aren't going to be sanitized and boring. 

I did assume they were newer parents if the source of conflict is meant to be that the one is weary of being a stay-at-home parent unless there is some recent event that is giving him second thoughts: maybe even what Martin's Aunt(?) Dani just went through after giving up her career for Bill, and not wanting to end up in a similar position.

I guess a punch in the face made Hayley less logical since she visited Nicole as if all was well.

I'm guessing Dani is going the Betty Broderick route because I sense either a murder, or attempted murder on Bill with Dani as suspect.

It looks like the nurse, her mom, and Eva and her mom will be the Have Nots.

I'm guessing the lack of chemistry between Martin and hubby is due to trauma from his dreams  and also from hubby putting his career on hold.

I'm Glad they actually didn't go full Babilônia and have the gay couple kiss right ahead for some "shock" value, if they are not kissing there's probably something underneath it

Scotty didn't die. The character that died was David, Julie's son.  Scotty and Eli are half-brothers (both David's sons).

Sorry I got confused, I remembered out of the top of my head and didn't research to confirm the info!

I Know, I meant having something "racy" just to call attention, my reference was even to a Brazilian Telenovela who had two elderly Veteran Actresses kiss on the first episode just to "catch" an audience, I'm all for Some Gay love if it's well built!

Someone said Dani is 49? Really? Her dialogue with Vanessa on the pilot made me think she was 40, she was 17 when she met Bill and Chelsea(?) Is 23

Has that been confirmed?

Dani was 19 when she married Bill, they were married 30 years so she's 49+
