She's been in four one and done series since Buffy ended. Not counting cameos, her last hit movie was in 2004.

Correct. SMG can use all the help she can get.

Frankly, I doubt SMG and Susan Lucci will ever work together again under any circumstances, so whether SMG needs this publicity is likely a moot point.

LMAO, huh? yeah that's blatantly false

Show me a television project of SMG that has been a hit since Buffy ended in which she's been the lead? There haven't been any. And I like SMG, but the facts are the facts.

SMG clearly doesn't need to work, despite a string of post-Buffy flops. But right now she is preoccupied with the high-profile Buffy revival with Chloe Zhao. (I am not at all convinced that show will work, but the point is she's busy)

Before that revival got off the ground, SMG was clearly in the mix to do the proposed AMC revival on ABC primetime. I think if that had gone ahead you would've seen her reprise and star as Kendall alongside Kelly, etc. Susan or no Susan. She would've done a make nice press tour settling the old rumors.

But I think it's pretty unlikely Sarah would star in a Lifetime movie. Whatever her hits or misses she is still seen as above that tier. I think the best you can expect there is maybe her doing a cameo as Kendall in one of them (or one similar to her appearance in 2011) as a favor to Kelly and others in the cast who she is still devoted to.

Meanwhile I think it is highly unlikely you would ever see MBJ or Seyfried even cameo on a Lifetime movie lol. But I wouldn't hate it.

If It's an AMC movie where she reprises Kendall and is tied in with Kelly Ripa, I could still see her doing the movie. It won't be something like Sexted To Death: A Marcy Margolis Story. The Buffy revival is still ongoing, and I still wonder if it will ever happen. Even if it does, she might be able to do a one-off movie, especially if there are other people involved and she isn't carrying the load.

I agree. I think there's too much bad blood.

Michael B. Jordan just starred in one of last year's biggest box office hits, and is a likely candidate for an Oscar nomination this year. He's not going to do Lifetime anytime soon, lol.

Also Amanda Seyfried slagged off Megan McTavish in a recent interview with CBS regarding her firing on AMC.

Not sure how she feels about others on the show but yeah....

I didn't get the feeling she resents AMC itself, but I can't see her going back. She's not on MBJ's level but she's doing better right now in her career than she has in a while.

Her career has never been that rough tbh. At least not in the last 5 years or more. The Dropout was a huge hit for her (and she was very good in it), Ann Lee is a major critical darling and while she is not at MBJ's level of stardom and likely won't be, The Housemaid has also been a sleeper success this month. (Which the struggling Sydney Sweeney needed much more than Seyfried - Seyfried does not really aim for being an A-List movie star like Sweeney does.) Point being, she's had a very solid career in a lot of both major TV and strong film. I suspect both Housemaid and Ann Lee will now up her profile further.

For sure. She's easily #3 after Jordan & Ripa in the best current career pecking order for AMC alumni from the 90s on. At the moment I'd say Josh Duhamel & Tichina Arnold are on the next tier, followed by Mark Conselous & Gellar.
