Lulu has always been a failed character so I wish her luck. I remember her being OK on AMC but Babe was so hard to watch.

For me, AMC in general was hard to watch in that period. I proposed Havins about a year and a half ago as someone who'd be a decent recast, so this is a thumb's up from me. Landon was a dream  choice, but I believe she's destined for bigger projects. At least we don't have to sit through Marci Miller from the KeMo school of paint drying.

Considering #firefrank is still in charge, my expectations are set where they belong -- extremely low.

Not too surprised. Jen Landon was too good to be true. Alexa is talented so I am alright with it.

Of the women her age foisted upon us by ABC in the 2000’s, I actually enjoyed her. IIRC she does have more warmth than JMB (unlike many her I actually liked her Lulu). Huge upgrade from ER.

Let’s see what she can do with Genie, JJ, Jane, Dom and Kirsten.

She struggled mightily against a very messy writing situation in her time at AMC, but she was always very good.

I haven't seen her on anything in years -  was the Southern bumpkin accent she used as Babe her real voice, or just an accent she was using? That wouldn't work for Lulu...

I assume put on since Alexa grew up in Arizona.

So GH hires actors from AMC that portrayed two of the most hated characters Ryan Lavery and Babe,  instead of hiring the one that should be hired.

At least Alexa Havins auditioned....... 🙄

I'm not sure but I don't think a Southern "cornpone" accent is native to her. I believe her natural voice is maybe alto but with a lilt.
