Well, I for one certainly notice him, constantly & I do not mean that in a good way either!!! No sirree, Josh, pretending to be a Roman Brady is just not a thing that works, AT ALL, on this show. I would prefer NO Roman to what we put up with. And, I personally feel pretty confident that that happens to be a prevailing opinion. I know people are almost always saying this on Twi/X, also on my FB forum & here, well, just look & see.

But, the fact that it doesn't bother you, that of course is a blessing for you at least.

So, I guess now we know how Mark and NotAbigail are gonna be redeemed. Clyde’s plan is stupid and convoluted and sounds like it wasn’t properly thought out by the writing team. He seriously needs to die. So sick of this mf’er.

I wonder how he’s connected to the Greene’s though.

Ava really needed to slap the s*it out of Stefan. I’m glad that she got to tell him off though. I was almost offended on her behalf lol I also found it a little ironic that misogyny was mentioned in their scene, especially considering who the head writer is (was)

And why exactly was the whole Gabi/Melinda thing written like a big joke today? Writing it like that is making this lousy storyline even worse.

Chad did look hot though, and I liked his scenes with Kristen today. The only thing missing from that storyline is Kristen having more scenes with NotAbigail. Btw, I wonder why Billy Flynn has a tattoo of a flower on his arm

And, me when they said that Kristen was on the PTA

Chad was hot shirtless!!❤

Hopefully, we will get to see Mark's mother.

Stefan is an a$$. He deserves to be alone. Glad Ava told him off. She should have slapped him.

Loved Kristen telling the nut job off!

Good episode.... I have a feeling all the Dimeras besides Chad with be involved in the blast aftermath.

Ron keeps trying to make Clyde happen, but no matter what stories or plots he throws at him, I'll never see him in the same league as Stefano or Victor.

Clyde's motivation for his scheme and how he's going about it, seems like a copy/paste of Konstantin.

Ugh to the most powerful and well connected villain ever, Clyde.

How exactly did Connie even know the layout of the mansion to know where the secret rooms were? That’s been annoying me.

Are we going to get another new DiMera set after the explosion?

It was nice to see Kristen being a protective big sister to Chad about Fake Abby.

The motivation in the F-Abby story make no sense.  So, Clyde has their mother hidden somewhere.  What is stopping F-Abby, or Marc, from asking the Dimera's for help?

Also, Clyde wants to get out of the Max Prison, so they have a negotiation tactic.  Because access to the Dimera fortune (which only partially includes Chad), is meaningless if he is in lockup.

@Antoyne, I had the exact same issue with Connie's knowledge of mansion blueprints, given that she's never even visited the house.  Plus, how did she get in and out with the bomb?  And how did she ever learn how to make a time bomb?  Finally, if Melinda is wearing a bandage on her head because Connie struck her with a pipe, why is there no blood?

Aren’t there like 10 people and servants living in the mansion but Connie can come and go with the two knocked out women. And magically she knows how to build bombs and also brought that back into the house without a single soul noticing. Mercifully this stupid story looks like we’re extremely close to the finish line.

    • JFP has had more defense for her decades of terrible producing than many male producers ever had.
    • It makes sense that she got a degree in directing. I've always said she should have been a director. I think she works better at the technical aspects of the show. I think her problem is the emotion/heart of a show.  She always guts the heart of the show she's on and she makes decisions that stop longtime viewers from watching a show. I don't think it's sexism to call that out especially as I've said similar things about Conboy. I've called out Rauch for much worse.
    • "Aunt Blanche" first appears toward the end of this episode, about 57 minutes in.

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.
    • Of course!

I'm wondering if there were bits cut from this footage, because to me it seems that may be the case. At 11:23, Laurie tells her psychiatrist that the bar phoned and told her Mark got into a fight and needs to be picked up. It starts to fade to the next scene, you hear some different music begin and get cut off between the static, and where you'd expect to see the aftermath of the fight, we cut back to a later scene of Laurie in bed worrying about what's happening. The credits at the end also show that more than Mark, Laurie and Dr. Northcote should have been in this episode. Another character, Brody, played by Ed Setrakian, is mentioned but not shown. If this is the case, perhaps the original fan who saved this episode has the additional scenes.
    • Anyway… It’s a shame that the video that depicted Leticia’s death was removed from YT.

I've never seen a trainwreck like this in my entire life. 5 pencils and 3 dolls?!!!!!!!!!!! (this little moment starts close to the 7th minute) WOW. THIS IS HAPPENING IN AMERICA?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Ms. Phelps holds a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded in 1972. At a time when women were underrepresented in directing programs, she was one of the few women in her graduating class. To suggest that she possessed no further talents than completely changing the style of music used on soaps seems like a vast underestimate when one reads her online biography through an objective lens. I guess that I should be more clever than to constantly blame misogyny for these misguided interpretations of her management style.  But, I'll never comprehend why fans unquestionably align their opinions even years after fact. Post-modernism, and the ability to reinterpret context through the study of history, seems to elude this conversation.

    • This is 100% correct.  It was even on the nightly news where the US Government would not let the cast and crew travel to Egypt because it was deemed not safe.  The Achille Lauro hijacking took place on October 7, 1985, when the Italian ocean liner MS Achille Lauro was hijacked by four men representing the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Egypt, as she was sailing from Alexandria to Ashdod, Israel. The location shoot was probably scheduled to be filmed in mid-October to air throughout November with a two week tape to air date.  Remember on the show they did some in studio scenes doubling for Egypt before shifting the action to Arizona.  It was an awkward end to a truly bizarre storyline.
