 such perfect casting as BF's son.

I think I said this already, but the new Gabi is also great casting in the vein of Elaine Princi replacing Robin Strasser, it's giving me that exact vibe. A very serviceable replacement who is doing her thing, and we get that her predecessor may very likely return someday and it will feel like *olde tymes*, but the replacement will have made her fans and will be remembered for her contribution to the show.

What did I miss, I didn't quite grasp Stephanie's private dance party.

And just like Elaine Princi, I prefer the replacement. And to think, Cherie Jimenez auditioned prior to Banus' casting... oh the ways could've been 100% better.

I really, really like Cherie. I liked Camila, too, but this casting has invigorated Gabi for me. It feels like it's aged her up (or maybe matured her?) in a way that works for the canvas.

I'm catching up on DAYS and is like at Thanksgiving last year, but it just dawned on me how much "Teresa" is sounding like Lauren Koslow. I wonder if she decided to base her "American" accent on her lol.

Emily O'Brien was using her natural accent as Theresa; she just polished it a bit more. The English accent is the one she puts on, as evident here:

Wow.  I just learned that right now about EOB.  I thought her Gwen accent was her real speaking voice.  Crazy.

Well, she is English but moved to the States when she was younger. By 15, she lost the accent and adopted a more American one.
