I don't know, I just think it's low-hanging fruit to make fun of Gio's reaction. It is funny, but if this happened in real life, I think a majority of people would respond with faces like this.

-- I do have to laugh at GH playing the window-crash-Kristina-into-the-pool scene multiple times. They're so proud of it. LMAOOOOOOOO I'd be more embarrassed than proud.

-- The dialogue on this show can be hilarious. Dante said "I saw my sister on that gurney. She didn't look good." LOL You think, Dante?

And then Chase swoops in with "Kristina's a fighter, just like you. She's going to be OK I know it."  No, dumb and ridiculous Chase, you do not know that.

-- Why is Gio completely dry when he interrupts Dante and Chase? We just saw him in the pool. I guess his first priority was to change clothes.

Lois is wearing the highest waisted pants I have ever seen.   I don't think the show did the best job of explaining why Lois was asking about L&B's money.  Sonny lied to Lois's face 30 years ago about L&B's funding and I don't think Lois was able to clearly articulate that.  It sounded more about BLQ.

Ava closing the curtains like no one would guess it was her room that Kristina fell out of was hilarious.   I hate when characters like Nina and Ava get in their own way so unnecessarily.  Like just tell the truth Ava-you really didn't do anything wrong.

I don't care-Gio's reaction was awesome.  I am not going to hate on him.  I've never seen someone fall into a pool from a hotel window, so I would probably have a stupid expression as well.

I feel like TJ/Alexis/Molly are just dealing in hypotheticals.  Nothing has happened yet to make everyone panic about custody.  I mean, obviously Kristina's face dive changes things, but before that people were just talking to talk.

Agree completely. I just don't believe Ava is that dumb to close those curtains -- or to stand at that window and stare in the first place.

BTW, wasn't it brilliantly lucky that NO ONE else was in the pool when Kristina plopped into it? And how lucky that she didn't hit the concrete bottom of that pool when she landed in the shallow water. How do we know it was shallow? Joss and Gio were just standing in it LMAOOO

Kristina is lucky she didn't dive head first into actual concrete.

Is Ava having sex with Jagger a bigger crime than Kristina falling out the window?  I don't know why she couldn't have said Kristina fell on a gym bag/suitcase.  Was Dante going to go through the contents of said suitcase at that moment and know it was Jagger's?  Weird.

I did not know this about the past with L&B money, or if I did I have forgotten it but I was able to get that that was the gist of her questions from what she did say.

Absolutely! Her lie is going to be so hard to support when the truth could've been effortless. People get guilty & behave so stupidly. Trina saw Jagger there so there's no way Ava can keep that a secret, and what of it, so she had a man there, overnight, big effin deal. Ava did herself NO favors!

I just don't find his facial expression to be remarkable given what they saw!

Yes, absolutely. We've had weeks of "what ifs".

It's also only about 4 feet wide! I say hooray for the stunt people!

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
