Bryan Craig, Good Trouble, General Hospital, GH, GH ABC, #GH, #GeneralHospital

With fans pondering who “General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini was alluding to when he told ABC 7’s On the Red Carpet that a former male cast member would be returning to the show this summer, actor Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) on Wednesday decided to join in on the fun as his name had been tossed around as a potential returnee.

In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Craig said, “Who could it be…….,” in response to a Soap Opera Digest story that included a photo of the actor alongside three other prominent former cast members who the outlet pondered could be returning. Shortly afterward, Craig responded to the story again, this time with a “thinking face” emoji.

Craig’s combined tweets have since been seen more than 50,000 times, received more than 700 likes, and generated over 100 comments from fans, many positively.

That said, Soap Opera Network has learned that the show has no current plans to revisit the Morgan Corinthos character or for Craig to return as a newly created character.

The last time Craig triggered a response from fans about a possible return to the show was in September 2020, when he posted a since-deleted tweet, saying, “I’m ready to work and up for grabs so who’s it gonna be?”

Craig’s tweet also tagged the official handles of all four soaps, which came as the dramas were in the midst of taping after a months-long shutdown during the pandemic era.

Since exiting the role of Morgan Corinthos in 2016, Craig has gone on to star in such shows as “Valor,” “Grand Hotel,” and, more recently, “Good Trouble.” He appeared in an episode of “Walker” in 2021 and the film “That’s Amor” in 2022, a romantic comedy about a young woman who loses her job the same day she catches her boyfriend cheating on her. Craig played the cheating boyfriend. Riley Dandy, Isaac Gonzalez Rossi, Gregory Zarian (“Venice: The Series,” “General Hospital”) and Paul Witten also starred.

So, with Craig not in the running for a return (for now), who do you think it could be?

Didn't Craig want to return earlier and Frank said no?

I doubt certain cast members would want to see him return.

GH must be in desperation mode if they are considering bringing him back to the show.

Thank fück. Again: I do believe Frank Valentini is talking about the return of John J. York's Mac. I do.

Why? we already know he's returning, KW and others already showed him outside the studio

Plus JJY isn't a "Former cast member"

It better not be Patrick J. Gibbons!

I am glad he is not returning. However, if you wanted to get ABC’s attention, there are worse ways to create engagement and try to show them they should bring you back.
