Michele Val Jean is friendly with a lot the actors she wrote for her B&B and GH. Which is a testament to her, I guess, since she spent most of her career as a staff writer. I don’t think Darin’s on the show, but he seems very supportive of her.

Yeah, Bibel seems to be on staff.

i'm certain there are actors with connections to MVJ who are supportive and wouldn't say no to a gig on BTG.

I wonder if there will be a lot of short term roles on the show, or the focus will be strictly on contract cast?

It all comes down to budget I guess.

I'd hate to see a Y&R situation where we hear about a lot of stuff but don't see it b/c extra sets and actors are too expensive.

I hope you're right about Darin Brooks.

So do I because Darin is such a [!@#$%^&*] actor and the last thing a new soap needs is to be casting third tier slops from other soaps.

Bold doesn't do much right these days but finally axing him and his weird mouth/lip acting was a great decision.

Not Bibel... NO

Yeah. I can’t believe how she manages to turn up everywhere no matter what.

As noted in the last casting announcement, January is no longer mentioned as a premiere. It's not referenced as "early 2025," likely postponing until after the inauguration, etc.

I think they're just keeping the date under wraps in case something happens to delay production. I'm sure they know very well what date it is, but things can go wrong so no point in putting it out there too early.

I am praying this won't backfire in the long run, or that this is a short-term gig... we deserve the top and the best, and Bibel is far from that.

I genuinely believe they pushed back, due to the Inauguration and all of the things happening surrounding that. Because, I am sure the January 6th terrorist attacks will be covered once again, etc.

Looks like Danielle Paige is also on staff:

Now this... this is promising. Cautiously promising. Her interview with Alan Locher stood out to me.
