I can't recall if you want this info posted or not. If not, I will be glad to delete it. This is the address of that primo spreadsheet that includes not only episode counts but all the PTB and who did the voiceover. This is a TwiX poster Rachel @rb2m94 and she uses the hashtag #UselessGHInfo so you just know she's got a great attitude!

When you posted the spreadsheet a few months ago, I think Toups or Errol said we already have people doing some or all of those things here at SON so it's extra info not needed?

I guess this thread is for writers/directors/producers only; whereas that GH spreadsheet also has actor episode counts by episode, and other details from episodes; which is more than is needed on this writers thread.  And we already have a SON member doing GH actor episode counts.

For what it's worth: I will say that I have been following that spreadsheet-maker Rachel for a long time, and she's even more picky about accuracy than I am.   But her work stands on its own, so I don't know where it would fit here at SON.

In trying to remember what was not needed I thought it was the Episode Count posts from UltimateSoapFan & not this ... but, I wasn't sure!!! UltimateSoapFan just posts results without a link to any resource. (They're also associated with a wiki of the same name.)

If either Toups or Errol will tell me this time, I will delete it & remember!!! Or if they want to let it stand but don't want me to continue posting it in future, then, that. Like you, I am a fan of her work & I bet there are others here who want to tuck this web address somewhere.

Today's Days script by Jamey G. The episode is posted on YouTube for a while. I'm watching it and his dialogue is too cute by half. If he ends up back doing breakdowns I can see why.  Writers in same order as Friday's episode.

Jamey Giddens updates during 2023 before, during, and after the strike:

(This was about 11 days before the Writers Strike)

(in reply to someone tweeting asking if he's still writing at DAYS)

I am through next month. I decided not to renew my contract. I just signed on with a hit primetime soap that I won't be able to discuss deets on for a while. My #DAYS eps will likely air through year's end, but Salem U.S.A. will always be home away from home! Two amazing years!

(Confirmed during the strike only because someone had leaked it on their youtube channel - that he'd be writing for Sistas)

Technically, yes. I resigned last spring, but I still had 2 weeks on my contract when we went on strike. Once the strike is over, I still owe #DAYS 2 weeks, aka 2 scripts.

Alan Locher interviewed Jamey Giddens on December 8, 2023
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxnYA669Gvo
From timestamp 47:45:
Alan Locher comments that Jamey has returned to Days.
Jamey quoted The Godfather: -Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in. "A few weeks ago Days reached out, and long story short, I accepted the offer and I am back writing and having a blast."
From timestamp 1:01:35 to 1:02:40, Jamey said he wrote 6 episodes of Sistas, which will air in 2024, and that Ron Carlivati allowed him to do both.

----------------------------------------------------

So 11 days before the 2023 strike began, Jamey announced that he would be quitting Days but couldn't say why. It seems that he was announcing his departure in advance, and planned to keep working for DAYS a little longer,  but the strike interrupted that on May 2.

Then, during the strike, it was spilled by someone else that he'd be writing for Sistas, and he clarified that he still contractually owed Days two weeks of work (he didn't specify if breakdown and/or scriptwriting) which he would fulfill after the strike.
If he was just dropped from the closing credits today June 6, 2024 then *maybe* that means he fulfilled the two weeks.  Or it's an error.

From the Dec. 2023 Locher Room interview, he was rehired at Days.
So we'll likely see him missing from the closing credits for a short while, and then back on.

    • The way this show handled Nikolas' shooting Hayden, Austin's murder, the long slow delay to getting rid of Cyrus, etc. we're likely to have it revealed in a year when Nina is 3 weeks away from leaving and has had minimal airtime.
    • Interesting. I love my Roku.  No, I don't know. Who? I mean Disney def does. I would think a number of parties have stocks.
    • Is he still spamming demands that they hire the campy chick from The Haves and Have Nots? Or whichever show it was. I don't think it's an either/or. I happen to think Dana, Dani, Eva, Nicole, Kat, etc. are all great. Certain folks aren't going to be some posters' favorites and that's fair enough. But I would argue most of those characters above (and several others) have caught on with a lot of the online audience. I've even warmed up to Martin!
    • We get it, you don't like this show or the actors. You've said that over and over again, Mr. Vanguard America/VDARE.
    • Lol at the WSB hot guy asking Joss if she was okay with betraying her friends.  Of course she is! Chase coming in hot at Dante was a choice. It's also quite hypocritical since Chase is lying to him about Dante's own child and making Lulu the bad guy.  Talk to the grown woman yourself Chase.  Don't make Dante do it. Lulu and Laura had some great scenes. The Rocco/Danny party is obvious an anvil for something happening and probably the Gio secret coming out. The Willow/Drew/Nina scenes were kind of anti-climatic?  I get why Nina chose this path as the way to get rid of Drew, but will anyone ever find out Drew was sleeping with Nina?
    • I was reading the NYT article on Roku's purchase of FrndlyTV. As anyone who has read my posting knows, I think re-airing old soaps is an imprudent idea. However, I will admit that if large media companies are looking for more streaming content.  And, if advances in AI continue to make the digitization process faster and cheaper.  Those of you who want the owners of the IP to release anything in their vaults may have reason to be hopeful.  Because the makers of TV's want to get into streaming in order to encourage young people to get back in the habit of updating their TV devices every few years.  And, Roku's plan is market exclusive content, that you have to buy a Roku device to view.  And you-know-who has a ton of content to sell.
    • This was  the messiest hour of television I’ve seen since Kenya Moore asked “who is this hoe?”
    • details of the current Health Secretary RFK Jr's insane beliefs - Doesn't believe that germs cause illness; suggests HIV doesn't cause AIDS; suggests antidepressants are behind mass shootings; believes that vaccines are harmful; suggests chemicals in water are changing children's gender identities... and is quick to promote supplements to prevent and treat diseases, such as recently recommending vitamin A for measles and falsely claiming children who die from the viral infection are malnourished. https://arstechnica.com/health/2025/04/rfk-jr-s-anti-vaccine-stance-is-rooted-in-a-disbelief-in-germ-theory/

I missed the reference at the time, but those DAYS writers really like jokey character names.
