And BLQ explained that NEddie dropped the Quarter & just kept the Maine. And a Blaze sighting & more of Olivia's infatuation with NEddie. Of course the whole crowd loved him so!!

I had to add a new thing I scream at the screen. Instead of "Run, Liz, Run!" it was "Liz, Save Jake! NOW!"

  • WHY IS MASON STILL AROUND?! GO AWAY LOLLIPOP-SUCKIN' BITCH! CHOKE!
  • If I came home, and found people had been using any kind of squirt gun in my house? Murder would be the result.
  • If I ever wanted to see Sonny murder someone... it would be Gladys! Go on, Sonny, take a freebie for us all!
  • It is going to be one of those episodes for Spencer & Trina, isn't it? Blarghhh... not into it at all.
  • Why did faux-Drew have to wake up? He shouldn't stayed in a coma indefinitely.
  • Once again, Sofia Mattsson is killing it in these confrontation scenes.Bonnie Burroughs is not as strong as she was yesterday, but she is still doing a decent job.
  • Gladys, you snitching bitch. How DARE you. Ugh.
  • K. Sasha. It's time to kill Gladys. Or it's time to have Sonny kill Gladys.
  • Seeing Ava in mommy mode is amazing; love seeing her like this, but I also need to see Ava take care of Mason!
  • Oh, so now we've got Carly going after the warden? Interesting... hmmm... I see.
  • Is Trina old enough to be drinking? Or are we ignoring that possible factoid?
  • Trina didn't say Spencer is the man she loves... signs a brewin', haha.
  • Dr. Montague gotta G-O, GO!
  • That dress on Trina is HIDEOUS! The 1980s/1990s called, and wants their side table covering back.
  • So, is this confirmation that Cyrus is Pikeman?!
  • Deputy mayor suits Jordan more than police commissioner. Perhaps she should remain?
  • Naked Finn? No thank you!
  • But... LAURA IS BACK!! YAY!!

Yeah… it’s well passed the time for a lot of people on this show to be killed off.

February sweeps, just have Pikeman blow Port Charles to kingdom come lol

I am day behind but, nunununuMolly seems okay.  And by okay I obviously mean looks a bit like Haley and not entering menopause.

I'll be honest, I love the silliness of 90s Eddie Maine as much as anyone.  I didn't get him wowing fans in the 90's and I certainly don't get it 30 years later.  I think WK is delightful and very talented-I have always had a hard time buying him as a rocker that appeals to the masses.  But, go wild Gh, I'd rather watch Eddie being a hit with the young crowd than Joss complaining about the lack of sex with Dex.  I definitely don't think people were there to see stick in the mud Curtis though.

I am enjoying the climax of the Sasha story.  Mostly because I hate Gladys, but also because this whole wacky Sasha/Cody/Sam/Dante plan feels like a 90's soap plot with a group of friends/lovers proving the impossible in the most complicated way imagined.  Instead of just researching Glady's spending history there was fake breakdowns, fake accents, fake kidnappings, asylum breakouts, and going on the run.  It's enough to be entertaining to me.

The rest of the episode was ok, but there a few things that made me laugh when I thought about it. Friggin Liz was talking about how busy she was today yet suddenly had the time to join Finn in the shower? Not a good look for ya, Nurse Webber (not Baldwin)

And all the long breaks that Mayor Laura takes, she must get ripped to the shreds by the press

The Spencer and Trina stuff was fun, but I'm on pins and needles about Ava's disappearance.

Also, Michael has a "friend" at the SEC who can tell him who tipped them off, but that person was of no help in the prosecution of Drew?  It feels a bit convenient for this source to have suddenly popped up, just as Sonny and Nina are planning to elope.

    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
