LOL I'm glad I crept into the GH thread to see this lovefest of GL's final days on earth. Gosh, I remember that scene, too. Was für ein verdammter Witz.

I'd be drinking right alongside Zimmer too if I had to be a part of that mess.

Does Sonny know that Nina knew who he was in Nixon Falls and chose to keep him hidden from his family?

That feels more unforgivable than calling the SEC on Carly, who is actually guilty of obstructing justice in order to avoid an investigation of insider trading,

It seems like the writing team has kind have taken away Ms. Wu's teeth. They had her acting like the school principal, disciplining the two bad kids in those scenes today with Cody and Gladys. I wish they'd figure what they want to do with her.

Btw, the doctor with Gladys and Sasha looked familiar. Does anyone know his real name?

No wonder GH has ratings that are going down. It is so slow moving. Plots take forever to come to light. Just think of how viewers would increase if there was a movement with Nina, Carly, and Sonny and the SEC. Come on. Let’s get moving!

Thanks for warning me it's a Gladys episode again.  I figured with yesterday's "cliffhanger".  If she doesn't fall into the pool like Ned and actually drown then I am going to have to skip it I think.  I would rather write an essay about why Carly is a great heroine than watch another day of Gladys, Sasha, and Cody talk about the exact same thing they have been talking about for 4 months now.

Yes.  He was mad for awhile, but Carly being in love with Jason or something drove him back to Nina.  I can't remember, but Sonny knows.

It looks like KS got her eyebrows microbladed or tinted.  It should fade.  Her eyebrows are probably too light for her hair now.  It looks ridiculous, but from experience it fades out pretty quickly.  She probably just filmed this right after getting it done.  Also, remember this post.  I just defended something about Maxie's styling for the first time ever.

The biggest tragedy of losing Guza was the dismantling of that writers room and their consistency when it came to character voices and dynamics. Whenever I tune back in now the way Carly interacts with and is pleasantly received by so many characters is so jarring for me. I do wonder how Laura Wright feels about it because she used to relish in playing Carly’s unreserved vitriol.

Fine with that.  You know I think Maxie needs to get transferred to Deception's Paris office for at least 2 years.

Kirsten just keeps trying to change her look and it screams insecurity and I feel bad for her, but I honestly think she just did something trendy with her eyebrows and it's not permanent.  She just probably didn't realize how stupid they would look for a few days and the makeup artists at GH were like...

    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
