EJ and Nicole was ff material. I did hear his absurd I love you crap.

Abe is useless. His scream during his scenes with Rafe was embarrassing LMAO funny.

The roof scenes took forever. Colin had plenty of time to throw Paulina over the balcony. No way IRL would Colin have waited that long.

And I agree the acting on the roof scenes were awful.

It's like every actor in that roof scene dialed it up to meet Jackee's OTT acting style and it was not good lol.   Abe decided to join in as well in solidarity.

I don't understand why the Nicole/EJ scenes were in this episode.

Well, the writing is never there lol.  But they were all trying to out shout one another.  I think Jackee as a screen partner truly makes everyone rev up to 15 on a 1 to 10 scale.  Usually Raven Bowens can keep in check, but today she was just in it with the rest of them.

Rafe and Jada were total dicks today. His obsession with Paulina is reaching pathetic levels. And I was glad to see Chanel rip Jada a new one about Talia. She really had it coming.

Gabi and Li were good today. She’s always a lot more likable when she acts like a human

And I liked Wendy and Li. She’s a lucky woman Though I’m not looking forward to Johnny being in another contest for another person. You can write a love triangle without having it end up like that

I thought today was overall pretty good.  I am not sure why Jada had to do all the arrests though.  Rafe wasn't doing much at all.  And was there truly any question that Talia would be arrested?  She drugged half the town lol.

I am not sure why Sloan telling Colin she would help him was the cliffhanger.  Of course she would?  Whether it's being a lawyer for him or getting him mental help that's a pretty normal thing to do and Eric shouldn't be surprised.

I also can't believe Talia and Colin weren't more injured lol

Watching

Its ridiculous no one died. Colin having only cuts is laughable.

The acting is still horrible way over the top.

Jada not calling for backup was stupid. The whole place should've been surrounded by cops.

The fall by Colin and Talia looked like a bad Three Stooges episode. They might as well have fallen on Sloan and Eric.

Chanel needs to shut up! She was stupid and so gullible.

Yeah, that didn’t make any sense either

That’s why I was glad that Jada had to arrest Talia. She was being all nasty with Colin and Sloan, and Chanel gave her a good wake up call.

Yeah.  I get it's Jada's sister, but she has been so awful to Colin/Sloan.  It's just there were multiple scenes of Rafe/Jada/Chanel talking about Talia's arrest like it wasn't a done deal.

It feels like I am supposed to feel bad for Jada and Talia, but side eye Sloan/Colin when both Colin/Talia did horrible things.  Talia could have killed someone with those biscuits.  Colin is supposed to be the crazy, evil one, but they both suck.

I know we are supposed to feel bad for Talia, but I don't.  I do think Colin should have died and Talia should have been more severely injured.  Or this story should have played out longer so we could see Talia as more of a victim with Colin abusing her or something.  Colin felt like he was abusive, but it wasn't played out and Talia basically went along with the plan willingly.

    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.

    • I started a separate thread for the same tribute, but of course it can be discussed wherever. doesn't matter where. Fyi  Jason Cook, Staci Greason, and Eileen Davidson will be there as well as Reckell and some of the current cast Thread for Live tribute to Drake https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68987-days-currentformer-actors-live-video-tribute-for-drake-hogestyn
    • Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.
