Aww...bummer that Cameron's going to college in California.  I guess the actor is going recurring (or was he already recurring)?  The actor has the best hair of anyone on GH.  Those gorgeous highlights, the luster, the length, the part is perfect-- like the best of the 1990s teen heartthrob hair!

He needs to share his hair style and health secrets with the rest of the cast.  The adult Spencer actor's hair has gone from great to worse the longer he's been on the show.  I'm surprised Uncle Victor didn't drag Scotty's wild hair amongst the list of insults he spouted to Leisl today.

Funny how Esme's alarmed that everyone's an enemy in the custody battle, but does she not know her lawyer is Laura's brother (hired by Nicolas)?  He's the one that filed the paperwork to send his great-nephew, the adorable baby Ace, to jail with Esme.

The episodes with Laura & Esme are so much better than the episodes without them like yesterday's dull episode with Willow.  Willow hating Nina in a deep-seated way like that doesn't even make sense and never did.  Harmony's deathbed reason to lie about it made even less sense.  Such low-stakes weirdness and making conflict out of nothing, like the insider trading nonsense between Carly & Ryan.  They need to resurrect the ghost of Nelle to haunt Willow, Nina, Carly to death or D'archem so they spend some time behind bars with Heather.

Ugh. Carly and Drew is her worst pairing in 25 years. They are so corny, goofy, and sappy. Not to mention boring and pointless in the once a month talking about this non story of theirs. I really hate them as much as the last rendition of Carson and Jarly. Carly's character doesn't work with a Dudley Do Right. They need to recast Jax to start off a CarJax reunion. He will get knee deep into this Joss and Dex romance (+Michael's role in it to ruin Sonny) to get her involved in a real story again. Carly is a waste of screen time right now cause she is not doing a thing except sitting around all day. CM is so terrible on GH. It's time to move on back to Hallmark movies. He came off like a game show host at the Portis and Curtis wedding reception doing the intros like it was the Super Bowl. He was so OTT in the worst way. Good guy. Bad recast.

Is there any news on VM coming back as Brenda for the Nurses Ball/60th? I like Sonny more with Nina than Carly. MB has better chemistry with CW than LW. I still want Brenda back for Sonny at some point. I would love even a visit for a week. They were the last real supercouple on GH

on this board, I can pretty safely say Brenda will not be back for the 60th.  I haven't seen anything that indicates she will be back anytime soon.  Probably one day though.  Agree with you about Brenda/Sonny though even if I find Sonny unlikeable and exhausting 99.9% of the time.

You have to be doing this on purpose at this point. It's pretty funny, I can't lie.

Looks like it.

I really enjoyed Liz and Cam's scene yesterday. His disappoint in her seemed authentic to the fact that they're both good people. And I think it was RH's best performance since I started watching again.

Every time I see Tatyana Ali I think "she's so beautiful", it's like I'm surprised.

Genie Francis and Nicholas Chavez bring out something really special in each other. She's lucked out with the casting for most of her kids and grandkids.

I'm filled with questions. I'm a GH newbie and when I started, the show was busy yet intriguing. I'm trying to grasp the names of the characters. For example, I have no clue who Sam is in a relationship with. All I know is that he's a detective and he's short.

It's a battle, but I enjoy watching it.

He's Dante Falconeri, Sonny's (the elderly mob boss who mumbles a lot) long lost son. They don't interact much. He (Dante) was married to Lulu Spencer, the daughter of Laura Spencer (the mayor), who is now in a coma. He's been in a very dull relationship with Sam for at least a year now. Sam used to be involved with Sonny 20 years ago, she had his kid and everything. Long story.

The kid is dead, to be clear. Died not long after birth. Sam struggled to conceive for years; her two anonymous children are Danny and Scout. Danny is the child of Sonny's presumed dead right hand enforcer, Jason Morgan, once the central 'hero' of this show who absolutely everything spun around (along with Sonny) for decades until his right-wing evangelical actor, Steve Burton, refused to abide by the network's COVID vaccine mandate and quit/was fired in late 2021. Don't hold your breath on ABC not buckling and bringing him back.

Sam's unnecessary and often forgotten daughter, Scout, is the child of Drew Cain (now played by Cameron Mathison), Jason's secret long-lost twin who was brainwashed by evil villains to believe he was Jason and who Sam and co. also believed was Jason for several years. Don't ask.

God, I thought Nathan Varni was long gone.

Gladys' gambling debts and her selling the garage are just as pointless as the SEC crap. There's no purpose for her character anymore.

And just a reminder, if by some miracle Joss ever gets killed off, I'm gonna celebrate on here like y'all wouldn't believe

    • Honestly who's to say Leslie even birthed Eva, I mean she's a liar, I wouldn't believe a word she says about Eva being Ted's(or hers)
    •   1. 11/1/83 cast/set list:

Please register in order to view this content

The "11/2/83" video you posted of Ruth Buzzi's scenes includes Roman and Hope in them, meaning the video you posted is actually 11/1/83, since Roman and Hope aren't in 11/2/83.   2. The video you posted of "11/2/83" has scenes with Roman and Hope. As you can see from my cast/set list, Roman and Hope are not in the 11/2/83 episode (see above note):   4573...11/2/83: Cast: Mickey, Julie, Doug, Maggie, Neil, Don, Marie, Alex, Liz, Andre as Tony, Gwen, Chris, Eugene, Sandy, Letitia, Charlene, Mrs. Whiting, Wanda/Guard, Dave, Delia, Saleslady # 1, Saleslady # 2, Figure in Dark, Raven/animal, Cats/animals, Birds/animals.   2.  11/3/83 :My video collection starts with 11/4/83. so I don't have the 11/1/83 or 11/3/83 video, but in addition to the cast/set list for 11/3/83, here is also the parking clearance call sheet for that day, showing Ruth was not only in the cast/set list but did work that day:     They even had hired the animal trainer and all the animals for the day, so It's sort of a certainty that her scenes were not cut that day, or it would have been a big waste of the budget. 3. As for 11/7/83, I just fast-forwarded through that whole episode myself. Letitia is in it from start to finish. It's her big final episode where she is killed. She starts the episode saying "Eugene, are you there?" In the next act, Marlena shows up and meets Letitia's lion. Later in the episode, Letitia is killed by "Eugene" (the Salem Slasher in a Eugene mask).   So, as we can see from your own post, the 11/2/83 date you have listed on that video is incorrect, since Hope and Roman are in that video but not in the 11/2/83 episode. It seems the dates you have on all your early November 1983 episodes are incorrect.   When you post videos and suggest that my data is incorrect, do you not first compare who is in the scenes and see if that matches who is in the episode? You didn't do that with the "11/2/83" episode, which based on Roman and Hope being in it means that is actually 11/1/83. Best to do something like that first before suggesting my data and research is incorrect.
    • Within the Dupree family, I predict Vernon/Anita will be conflicted about what to do about Bill and his role in the whole Ted/Silk Press Sheila situation... especially since Bill knows where the particular bone about Martin is buried. Dani, Chelsea, and Naomi's reactions to what Bill possibly did isn't hard to guess.. but Hayley's reactions will be interesting to hear.  Especially given her recent pregnancy scare.. she might not be so much on Bill's side, or she'll totally surprise us and be totally on Bill's side.   Either way, I think Martin's secret will be the main focus in May sweeps.. with the fall out of the Eva secret playing out in the background... while the Joey/Vanessa/Doug thing continues to boil/develop.
    • Hotel was The Love Boat on land but a little soapier. I will forever maintain that Hotel was a time slot hit. I don't believe that 1983/84 Hotel was a better show than Knots Landing.

    • The timing is strange, though. How far in advance would they normally be on location? The Achille Lauro hijacking was on October 7, 1985. Nancy had arrived in Egypt in the storyline by October 18. But the character of Hawk, Chris' Native American friend from Arizona, had already appeared onscreen by September and brought a letter telling Chris to be in Egypt by October 25th.  Why did they already have the link to Arizona before the reason to cancel the shoot in Egypt?  The dust and the jar it came in were from Egypt though. Nancy bought it there and sent it to Mac as a gift before she came back to the states and followed Chris to Arizona.
    • Actually that is not what happened. Nor is the timing right for it to have been. We learned from a WOST interview with Pete Lemay  in 2006, which can be found on YT, that it was Fred Silverman's idea to do the 90 minute show. I don't know how much you know about him but he had these amazing successes as head of daytime at both ABC & at CBS. Then he came to NBC where basically everything he touched turned NOT TO GOLD but to shite. Some of the most expensive shows ever produced up to that time were huge flops. Although even he, like a broken clock, could be right on occasion. However, as we know, he was not right about the 90 minute show. As a matter of fact, afterward,  NBC programmers, who worked FOR him, were asked why they did it & they were quoted as saying it was because they couldn't think of anything else to try. It was a stupid idea from a man who had reached the point where he was throwing anything at the wall to see if it would stick.

    • I stopped watching Another World in 1990. Simply, lost interest in the show.  I had watched the show from 1973 to 1990. The 90 minute show started the decline of AW.  NBC panicked with expanding AW due to the GH hoopla. As mentioned above, 1982 was a trainwreck for AW.  The introduction of the Shea family, the movie storyline involving Jamie, and Steve Frame favoring Rachel over Alice. The writers went into that direction due to the forgettable performance of Linda Borgeson.
