Sheila plans to hide out at Bill's house?  That would explain why Bill was so afraid and didn't want Katie to leave, and he felt something awful would happen.  It seemed he was having an emotional breakdown. He thought the sword necklace was causing supernatural problems. But maybe he was psychically sensing that he was in real danger - from Sheila?  Right after Katie leaves, Sheila shows up outside his house.

Bill's scenes from the past few days have been odd. Don Diamont was quoted in SOD a couple of weeks ago - DD said that Bill is afraid of being enveloped by darkness and wonders if the sword necklace will keep him strong against it.  It was weird to read.  And his scenes have been weird to watch.  I wondered if this would be about a midlife depression crisis or a bipolar diagnosis.

But I didn't know whose house Sheila had arrived at, until I read the post from @dragonflies .

Okay so now I'm wondering if the show is trying to do some "good and evil" thing ... His recent scenes with Katie were about him trying to be "good" -- and Katie not believing that it's feasible that he could stay good.  And then Sheila arrives.

And funny how Taylor's premeditated shooting just got swept under the rug by all 3 families. Bizarre how Sheila's impulsive shooting, which was a a terrible plot point, is somehow irredeemable, but $B's attempted murder is not.

Did we ever find out if Sheila actually has money or was that just sweet talk to get Deacon's help?

I still question what happened to Bill and Li, it is odd that they weren't given any time to develop their relationship, because for once it was a fresh pairing on B&B.  Especially now with this Sheila drama, it would be nice to give Li some vengeance.

I only half pay attention while this show is on. Didn't Sheila get stuck in traffic with the cop right behind her? Why didn't he just shoot out her tires while she as stopped? The whole sequence was ridiculous. And I still can't get over the stupidity of Sheila wearing open toed shoes after cutting off her own toe to make everyone think she's dead. Brad Bell's father wrote Sheila so much smarter than this.

LOL Bill CHOSE not to press charges, what's hard to understand about that?

You have to be smoking something funny, AN a better actress than JMW?

MA acted CIRCLES around that scene with AN, she chewed the scenery big time. Dramatic stories are not her forte

Matt is good but you’ve gotta be smoking if you think he did better in that scene than An. Annika is a better actress than Jacqui. Jacqui overdoes hand gestures and she can’t even control her facial expressionsObjectively AN is better and more refined, and anyone who doesn’t keep up with the show and has no faves would agree lol.

Thank you.  I read these arguments about who is better and I'm like...neither?  Annika is terrible.  The best actress on this show was Susan Flannery and there's never been much else honestly other than Heather Tom and her crying.  KKL does fine/pretty good.  I would say the current Taylor Krista?? Holds her own and is decent.  The rest of the cast is pretty much blah.  Don Diamont is in Ron Moss territory.  Not quite as bad because he's not so monotone.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
