I feel like they use Sonny more than Lucas.

The pairing with Rafe was always WTF?  They weren't good together, they had no chemistry, and Ava did nothing but cook pasta for him.

I don't even think Ava/Jake had the chance to be boring together lol.  They have had about 15 scenes depicting their entire relationship lol.

I haven't even seen the episode yet, but the mugger already reminds me of that dorky mob guy last year. I get that these day player characters are meant to have exaggerated features since they're appearing briefly and they're not going to waste time diving into their psyche, but they could do with pulling it back a bit at least.

Gwen, Xander and Sarah boring mess

Fake Kristen gloating about a company she now runs which seems to have no office or clients.

A day player kills Jake.

Gabi and Sonny talk amounted to nothing.

The cliffhanger showing a close up of sweaty nude RSW with Sonny wondering who he is.

Ron Captivating truly sucks!

I'm a firm believer that one should always find something positive even if one is completely bored and indifferent at what you're watching. And I was truly bored and indifferent to today's show.

But here goes:

1. I highly enjoyed a barely dress Xander throughout the entire episode. Anytime we get a half-naked Paul Telfer on our screen is always a good thing!

2. Eric's naked biceps. Like fine wine Greg Vaughan gets better with age.

3. Despite the fact he was fully dressed in a pleasing suit, Sonny was still the hottest piece of male eye candy on today's screen. Zach Tinker's mere presence has given Sonny a character trait he never had when played by Freddie Smith - SEXY!! Even with the pornstache. LOL.

No truer a statement...and I have to say I'm grateful for it. LOL

I miss the days when soaps shamelessly, unapologetically and blatantly exploited the male body on a daily basis. In fact, soaps is the one genre in the entertainment field in which the male body is more exploited than the female body. At one time almost every soap had at least one male actor who sole reason for being hired because they had a fabulous rock-hard torso. LOL

How were Jake and Ava great loves? Seriously. All they did were back massages due to Jake's lower back pain, ate some scrambled eggs next to the bed, and they passed a roll of toilet paper to each other through the door in case one forgot to replace it. More importantly, they both held their breath while doing it because they didn't want to smell it.

    • Terrific ideas -- but would Mike and Nancy's great-grandson bear the last name Dallas?  Yuck.  Any way we could make him a Karr?    And in a similar vein, how could Bill and Martha's granddaughter bear the name Marceau?   I love the idea of continuing the Karr, Marceau, Hillyer, and Drake legacies, but if the new characters do not use the familiar last names, the effort to connect them to the past is rather fruitless.  Just my personal observation.
    • And they gave him a whole commercial and everything! Happy to see that star keeps growing.
    • But the REAL question...   ...May Sweeps...OR SLEEPS...???

    • It's doubly a shame because one thing Long excelled at was using backstory to enhance the present story. I think that's one reason why Josh and Reva took off the way they did--the early stuff is really good. (Unfortunately, they ruined it by overusing the characters). Imagine if Roger returned to get involved with Alex, and her brother and ex, who used to be dire enemies, came together to oppose him. Instead, Mike was nowhere to be seen and Alan was written out for years. Yes, casting would have been an issue, but when you think about what they wound up with for 15 years...
    • I've never been so annoyed to be running late. lol   EVERYONE looks so pretty.   Happy to see Andre and Eva interacting, Mona being there, and happy to see Nicole play matchmaker for Dani. Fingers crossed that FOINE doctor from Nicole's last event pops up.   @kalbir Andre looking like a snack in that tux.

      Lmao!!!!
    • Also gotta feel sorry for Mona, realizing today that she’s only known Leslie for a few months; she’s going to blame herself for all of this.
    • The way this show handled Nikolas' shooting Hayden, Austin's murder, the long slow delay to getting rid of Cyrus, etc. we're likely to have it revealed in a year when Nina is 3 weeks away from leaving and has had minimal airtime.
    • Interesting. I love my Roku.  No, I don't know. Who? I mean Disney def does. I would think a number of parties have stocks.
    • Is he still spamming demands that they hire the campy chick from The Haves and Have Nots? Or whichever show it was. I don't think it's an either/or. I happen to think Dana, Dani, Eva, Nicole, Kat, etc. are all great. Certain folks aren't going to be some posters' favorites and that's fair enough. But I would argue most of those characters above (and several others) have caught on with a lot of the online audience. I've even warmed up to Martin!
