I am not even sure why they gave the Tristian guy a contract. He's been on like 4 times since he started lol. I think Steve taking a break completely killed any ideas Frank had about Britt/Jason and is entirely over it all now like you said.
There was a really long period of time where Jax was relying on hookers for sex. After Brenda left in 2003, aside from his Sam romance, that seemed to be what he was doing. There was a brief time I thought they might pair him with Liz during the surrogacy story, but that fizzled out quick. The Lucky/Liz are poor because of Lucky's medical bills so we have to rent out Liz's womb story is another weird C story from the era. Anyway it was a strange time because ALW left for a month or two and I think the show said they were recasting and then she came back to be killed off. Odd.
