The only reason I could see Billy and Chelsea getting together is some drama with Johnny, their son.

It could work that Chelsea encounters Johhny when he's out with Billy and maybe he and Connor strike up a friendship.

When Victoria finds out, she's not happy and there's tension as Billy sides with Chelsea's notions of letting Johhny know his real mother etc

Maybe Johhny is in an accident (maybe while with Billy and Chelsea) with Chelsea and Victoria then  at loggerheads

It doesn't have to be a Billy/Chelsea romance just a a parental bond...

The roundabout romances need to stop.

Thank you @kalbir and @DRW50 I may have to look back for sure myself. I know the following year 2003’s “Hot Enough For You” with that Daniel Bedingfield song also generated some controversy as well for racy content, mainly for a B&B ad that showed Amber holding Little Eric over a cliff with the announcer yelling “Is this hot enough for you?!” and that Bedingfield appeared on GL to sing his song (very poorly) at the Bauer BBQ or something.

I was barely watching anything with GL by that point. I should look to see if we get Peter Simon jamming to him.

I would liked to see 2002 YR. some people in the older threads here that I've been reading say that this period Ig MS Phyllis was written the most mature?

MS actually put in work back then and didn't rely mostly on her ticks. I would definitely agree the early 00's was the most mature era for the character and Stafford's performance.

I loved the Hot Enough for You promos. And I adored the song.

I'd love to see B&B's Deacon-Macy-Amber promo.

That is too bad about Thompson and Ordway.  Just when you think things are on the rise, covid rears its ugly head again.
