These are also people that wear masks and don't think it is a hoax but they decided to play what I call COVID roulette over Christmas. I am waiting for the next week or so to see the "I got COVID and I don't understand why" posts. Yep I expect Temp recasts on most soaps as they start filming in 2021

I work in healthcare and expect the next month to be absolutely terrible.

Camilla Banus just announced she tested positive. Of course she’s a Trumper who has been flying cross country and celebrating her engagement. To my knowledge nobody else has tested positive, but with so many cast members traveling and posting themselves out in public, we have no idea when they will test positive.

Yeah and what LA county is saying is if you film please so not have your cast traveling. Keep them locale. That bodes well for soap production but will they require Actors to quarantine for 10-14 days upon return from their travels and will that cause the soaps to temp recast some roles I could see that
December 29, 20205 yr Member I would not feel comfortable taping scenes with people who don’t follow the guidelines. It only take one false negative covid swab to cause spreading of the virus.

I saw this in the stories for Classic Days and I immediately thought this was about her...

January 6, 20215 yr Member PER HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, "INCREASINGLY UNREALISTIC" THAT PRODUCTIONS COULD RESUME EITHER NEXT WEEK OR THE WEEK AFTER... "The major studios and streamers have halted their L.A.-based projects with plans to restart them mid-January — but sources say that's increasingly unrealistic...Most productions that were slated to resume on Jan. 4 are now eyeing either Jan. 11 or Jan. 18 as new start dates. However, some production insiders suggest that even those dates are looking increasingly unrealistic. They raise concerns that the city might not yet be feeling the full effects of a post-holiday COVID surge, something that's been widely expected. Should the city's case load continue to skyrocket and ICU capacity further decline in the coming weeks, they say that studios would likely keep pushing their schedule back — though they're unlikely to make those decisions until they can take stock of the situation closer to those dates." https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/the-situation-remains-fluid-production-pause-in-los-angeles-may-extend-longer-amid-covid-surge
