Geez, what a tough day. David Jacobs created some of the longest-running and most influential shows of all time and still never really got the credit he deserved. What a brilliant man.

Wow! I just jumped back into Dallas a few days ago and have been watching it nonstop since then. I will be forever grateful to David Jacobs for essentially creating a genre that grew into an incredible world for an awkward 12-year-old boy in Louisiana to escape to - 20 years after it was in fashion. He truly created an empire.

That remastering job for Knots needs to speed up. It's criminal that it's taken this long to give the entire series this attention.

David Jacobs gave me my all time favorite nighttime soap.

Truly - a pioneer of prime time soap opera. JR, Sue Ellen, Valene, Abby, Karen, Bobby, Pamela - we know all these characters by first name because they were so iconically created.

It's probably also to do with music rights; the series probably has not been looked at in years, and I would rather they take their time to get it right than provide a rush-job.

What I had heard was that it is specifically music rights holding up the streaming of KL.
