Isn't it the following day though? Monday 1/21 aired the first 28 minutes (so I guess that episode counted as airing). It's Tuesday 1/22 that aired a portion of the episode from 3-330 and the Wed. 1/23 aired a portion from 339-4. So, I believe the 1/22 episode aired over two days (1/22 and 1/23), making 1/22 the "preempted" day. I think the combination of Monty's failure, Rauch's OLTL tanking causing issues as their lead-in, and a resurgent GL under Curlee really combine to torpedo GH's fortunes.
