Best of luck with the rest of your real one.

I like JT and thought Miller was wildly overrated at Y&R, but I don't think he's anywhere near as successful in the role as Miller was. He has a small fanbase with the GT fans there IMO and that's it.

Drew's branch of the family tree has withered (aside from Scout).  Once again, it's time to visit other branches of the family tree (Brooke Lynn, Dillon, Jimmy Lee, Celia, Bradley Ward's branch).  The Quartermaine's have plenty of relatives other than Jake Dough-boy to feature. If only Frank could pull his head out of his ass. (House cleaning needs to be done first--from the top......)

If BM is out, then it doesn't surprise me.  Once SBu came back as Jason, I thought the writing was on the wall.  Especially, once they ended Drew/Sam so quickly without providing Drew another viable love interest.

And to be honest, I felt like BM was miscast as Jason, and Drew didn't seem to have much personality.  So I don't think it will be any great loss to the canvas. I just wish he could take Kim with him.

I will be curious to see what BM will do next.  It sounds like he doesn't want to sign a long-term contract with any soap, and I think that is probably a major obstacle for any of the other shows.  I could see him going back to Y&R as Billy.

In terms of EPs, I have a lot of issues with FV, but I prefer him over JFP.   At least on FV's GH, I see characters like Scott, Bobbie, Kevin, Felicia, Mac, etc., semi-regularly, and that FV doesn't have an issue with KMc and others coming back for visits.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.
    • https://www.instagram.com/p/DJxW5DLJLId/ Another World is my forever favorite soap opera. But it's finale is almost universally hated by its fans. What this is, is an edit where I've deleted everything I didn't like!!!
    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
