Members Darn
Good lord Ronn Moss didn't improve one little bit in 25 years. And those close-ups are freaking me out.
Members DramatistDreamer
Moss was pretty bad there. It was as if Johanna Johnson were acting against a near inanimate object.

Members Faulkner
This turns my stomach. So terrifying. Again, I wasn’t a full-time viewer of the show, but my mom watched. Please register in order to view this content
Members Darn
Part 2 of that has some dialogue that is incredibly surprising to me, the doctor says to Margo "Your attacker...withdrew and he ejaculated on your thigh." Nowadays I'm surprised when a character even says the word "sex".
Members DramatistDreamer
Douglas Marland was all about 'real talk' in how he wrote dialogue for his characters and he often had characters discuss really uncomfortable and awkward topics. Sometimes the characters themselves would mention how uncomfortable certain topics made them feel. I remember on one occasion on ATWT, a couple was was arguing and the wife wanted to talk about the lack of sex in their marriage and her husband replied that he hadn't been raised to discuss these types of thing. Before that, the wife had wanted to discuss how her husband sometimes handled her "rough" during sex. Marland pulled no punches with dialogue dealing with intimate issues. Members Darn
I love it. I wish we could have this back! It's so much more interesting than sex being fantastic between every couple and everyone calling their partner "amazing" until they cheat on them. Members YRfan23
Lol it’s amazing that this is one of the few soap scenes that got a lot of memes and, and re-enactment videos Please register in order to view this content
Members Darn
Maureen Garrett is giving SO MUCH in this scene and the other actress is giving her absolutely nothing.
Members Soapsuds
I never got over B&B killing Caroline off the show. I thought it was a big mistake on their part.

Members Soapsuds
There was a warning posted and voice over about it before the episode started.
Members ChitHappens
But it was really good soap. I was glued to ATWT at that time. The show didn't skip one beat! Sure was!
Members Faulkner
I watched the scenes of Eden’s rape on Santa Barbara, which was also very disturbing, but it was done in this amped-up, exploitative (very Chuck Pratt) set-piece way, whereas the violence here is more unsettling through not being seen. What really bothered me about Eden’s rape (other than the disgusting revelation that the gynecologist who examined her was the perpetrator) was that it seemed to have no big impact on characters beyond Cruz. I kept wondering, where are Eden’s siblings throughout this story? Where’s her mother? Where’s their angst and struggle? I always most appreciated soaps that showed how traumas rippled out to affect a community.
