Finally caught up.....Leo and Sonny's wedding was a train wreck .....I admit it was funny...too bad Freddie Smith didn't show up. I truly wish they'd keep Sonny and Leo together. Leo is what Sonny needs....LOL. The ship has sailed with Sonny and Will. I saw more chemistry with Will and Sarah. Too bad they are related or they could pair a bi Will with Linsey Godfrey(although she'd play a different character). I'd even take a Gabi and Will pairing. They have so much more chemistry than Will and Sonny. Unless they plan on bringing a hot doctor for Will played by Eric Sheffer Stevens....

to get Chandler Massey out of his funk and make Will have a backbone instead of being a deer in headlights character. 

 

Time to end Will and Sonny for good!  Come on Ron do it!

Ron has been playing the same story over and over for 18 months:  some wacko takes over the Kiriakas family (Xander, Susan/Kristin, Leo, Bonnie, who am I leaving out?) and blackmails everyone, making them all look like idiots, for a few weeks or months then it all gets improbably resolved.

 

Ron thinks that doing Three's Company Meets Gilligan's Island outlandish characters and plot twists will bring viewers; but it doesn't.  

 

Has anyone kept count of the number of back from the dead in last 18 months?
 

Don't be surprised if one 2019 jump the shark plot is a Tripp/Kayla affair.

Will barely acknowledges that Gabi exists. Which is a shame because she is the mother of his child. IMO, Sonny is much more chivalrous towards her than Will is. He has looked after her better, helped provide for her, and was the one who held and comforted her when she came out of prison and Ariana "hated" her. And tried to get Ariana to show respect towards her..( If I didn't know any better, I would think that Sonny/Gabi were the ones who were her biological parents, not Gabi/Will.) Will should have been doing those things, but he was too busy focusing on Paul and not really interacting much with the rest of his family.  For whatever reason they don't really interact much. I do think that Will should interact more with Gabi if only because of Ari but they have acted like almost strangers to each other for a while now. Also, I did like Will interacting with Sarah, but I saw a family vibe between them. I liked how she called him cousin and offered to listen to him about his problems.

 

Also, I wonder how this custody storyline about Holly will play out. Brady was wrong yesterday trying to downplay Nicole's comments. Now, granted she wasn't really specific about whether she wanted Eric to raise Holly or not. But she did say he should look after her and Brady failed to acknowledge that. And tried to spin her comments into something she didn't mean. It seemed like he wanted to make Eric suffer more. I do think that Chloe may have been more willing to work something out with Eric, had Brady not tried stepped in and tried to downplay Nicole's comments. And I think that Sarah seems a bit uptight, though I do like her and Eric together.

They can find the hottest and most charismatic actor around and I don't think Chandler Massey will ever make an effort. 

 

They should just write Will out, have him go work for Sami, and bring in a doppleganger who is straight. Massey made much more effort with Camila Banus.

I had forgotten Brant was on the show.

 

They can bring in Guy Wilson so they can repair him with Sonny  He can play a new character ...he is the Will he married anyways...hate seeing the fake flashbacks of CM as Will in the wedding to Sonny. 

 

I don't understand for the reasoning in Sonny's awful hairstyle. 

 

 

And Gabi's revenge has been a big flop. The actress who played multi personality Abby is gone so why should I care? They should've had the actress stay until the story wrapped up. And the story plain and simple stinks written by Ron. The story would have worked with a capable HW.

I think they'd definitely have to have them interact a lot more and have Will actually act like he cares about her well-being in order for this to work. Will really hasn't done much of those type of things since he came back. They really have talked much at all (if at all) about things like her getting beat in prison and being unable to have any more children. Things that they should talk about regardless if they are ever a couple again. Since'Gabi was on trial the last time around, got beat, and found out she couldn't have any more kids, Sonny, Chad, Eli, and JJ has expressed more concern about her well-being than Will has. Though, she is the mother of his child. I'm curious to see how he will react when he finds out she's been gaslighting Abby and this stuff that will go down with her and Julie. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have much of a reaction to it. He doesn't seem to react much at all to her these days.

      I'm anticipating most of the cast at the Nice location for a few weeks a la the Tuscan villa for Victoria and Ashland's wedding. I don't know why they bother. I'd rather see the money going into more regular home/office sets. This party has been a bust. No secrets revealed, break ups  etc. Ugly decorations and I'm going to slam the costuming again. Just the guests heaping praise on  Nikki  like she's achieved some magnificent milestone rather than just getting a year older.

      Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.

      Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.

      The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.

      That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.
