I like it too, but like everything else, I'd love for it to be written better.

Anna and Finn are just cringe worthy.  Finola can leave and never return for all I care because Anna has been completely decimated!  According to Frank's retcon, Anna is a liar and rapist, and has been lying to EVERYONE for decades yet they are lining up to give her sympathy?  If no one's feelings for Anna has changed, this tells you everything was about tying another newbie to the canvas, Frank's MO.  Loathe his ass!

Same

The whole show otherwise isn't "awful" or "bad" (nor is it great, either) per say but I can't say the characters they focus on interest me much. It's often pet after pet sharing scenes together with a side dash of someone else.

Same.

I'm so sick of Frank/Varni's pets. And characters that exist simply to prop said pets.

I don't mind the Carly story but it's all so blah and boring to me. I jumped back in last week and I have to ask myself "why"? lol

Jax lived in the Penthouse in the PC hotel his entire first run.  Maybe he did again when he returned a year later?  I can't remember.  I liked that set.

BTW, I think Ingo is still attractive, but he was smoking hot back than as was MB....This is pretty much toward the end of round 1 of S/B/J as Brenda was only making sporadic appearances while VM was filming "The Rock" and pretty close to reuniting with Sonny.

I saw some previews for the show recently, and Kin Shriner was in them as Scotty.  Did they un-fire him?  It seems like he was going to be Dr. Bensch's lawyer, which is kind of out of character, but if they're keeping him, I'm not going to bitch about it.  At least he's still on!

Actually, I can remember when Scotty was still a good guy.  They made him a bad guy after Laura hooked up with Luke.  I was hoping though, that Scotty would take the high road and not go against Ava's daughter in court.  It would have been more interesting if Alexis took Bensch's side and Scotty defended Kiki.  It would have stacked the odds more against Kiki because no one really likes Scotty.

I've  "known" Scotty since he was a little boy, and he was always a good, noble, loving person until Laura callously dumped him and ran off with the degenerate who raped her...and until the entire town suddenly regarded the mobster rapist as a "hero," and treated Scotty as an unwanted interloper and villain for being peeved about it.

Team Scotty forever!

I think we can all agree that there is still plenty to explore with the character of Scotty.  He could be as caring and tender as he is slimy.  I wish they'd use Kin Shriner to the potential he still has going for him!  However, I am not holding my breath.

    • I almost posted this because that was my initial reaction too:  this is weird/cringe, to sing around a piano after such a huge family shattering bomb was dropped.  But I got over that and just enjoyed her voice, the song and the montage we saw as everyone's emotions in the aftermath were pouring out.
    • The Equalizer original series was not a big hit yet it became a movie franchise and got a reboot series. The Equalizer reboot lasted 5 seasons, so one season longer than the original series.

His social media/IMDb doesn't have his age but from some posts he's made, I'm guessing 1989 is his birth year.
    • Here's the timeline, as I recall it being published. The WGA strike was 5/2–9/27/2023 Annalynne McCord was announced as being hired in December 2023, for a one-year contract https://deadline.com/2024/06/days-of-our-lives-when-to-expect-annalynne-mccord-peacock-1235975806/ RonC's first scripts back from the strike began airing May 31, 2024 (around Konstantine & Maggie's wedding) https://www.tvinsider.com/1137709/days-of-our-lives-writers-return-15000th-episode-storylines/ Her first air date was June 19th 2024. The actress has said she was not told who she would be playing until she started taping. RonC 's replacements were announced July 2024, with his scripts airing through April 2025 Side note: DAYS social media team seems to be playing fast and loose with BTS videos, in terms of how far in advance they film content (e.g. their April Fools' Joke videos were clearly not filmed on 4/1/25), so we shouldn't assume anyone's current status, versus those who were there nine months ago.
    • April and her husband (Draper) are the "young leads" who tie all the storyline threads together.  They're normally in the center of the action.  In this particular storyline, Draper is the attorney who represents Paige Madison.  (The district attorney, Logan Swift, has given Paige Madison "temporary immunity from prosecution" if she will lead the police to the members of the Tobias Gang who stole the firearms.  But Paige mainly just ducks bullets from various gang members who pop-up to assassinate her.)
    • It's one thing to post about a soap's rumors or gossip, which in point of fact we've all done. It's another to present yourself as the inside source who knows something to be fact that's about to break wide, then backtrack and call it just Twitter speculation. Between those two extreme poles you have to commit to one or the other. If I got something wrong, I'd say it. (Nor would I keep playing insider after what I pulled with Drake Hogestyn, which should've gotten someone permanently banned.) And regardless, you don't open with this 'news' you don't actually want to stand by yet by mocking DRW's extremely valid concerns re: how the Trina character and Tabyana Ali has been marginalized and put out to virtual pasture ever since the day NAC left. Her playing out her current contract in a C-storyline with Kai does not change that.
    • Yeah, I thought it would be more explosive or heated and it was kind of standard.  Both can do more with the material.  I just don't think the writing was there.
    • Daphnée and TMG are on Instagram live (as we speak) and are saying they don’t know why Maurice left.
    • Anita let SilkPress know what time it was!
