How sad. I always felt AMC made a mistake by getting rid of Mark. He was one of the characters that balanced Erica and could bring out her less selfish side, but not in an annoying way like her kids. Good actor as well.

Aww. He was a fave of mine. I used to love the occasional drop ins Mark would do over the years whenever Erica had a real crisis.

Mark's was one of the best drug addict storylines written on daytime. I'll never forget his intervention. I loved Mark/Ellen. LaMura was excellent and I also loved his "pop-ins" whenever Erica needed him.
