My NBC and CBS affiliates stop showing soaps if they were preempted. I would have to go to the NBC or CBS website to catch the episode. I am not sure if B&B was completely pre-empted in all time zones or not.

I started watching the episode on NBC.com but didn't finish. If there was one episode to be missed by a preemption this one was a good one to miss. Wasn't here for a Hernandez breakfast. How about a Horton or Brady family breakfast?

I did like Andre reflecting on Stefano. I know many were up in arms at psycho Andre babysitting Thomas but I thought it was cute.

Other than that the first half of the episode did nothing for me LOL. But that's gonna happen.

I hope you guys didn't miss the really fun Kate/Andre stuff that happened halfway through the episode. Best part of it.

I liked Andre thinking about Stefano.

Gabi's heart warms up at the sight of Dario and Rafe being cute and messing with each other, so what does she do? She brings up something sad to ruin the moment. Basic, useless.

I'm to the point where I can't stand the sight of Gabi. Shame too because around the Nick in the river story I was slightly liking her. Dena did the character no favors by propping her. I honestly think they're writing her bad because they know we can't stand her ... LOL

I can't be the only one finding Justin/Adrienne played out. RC knew better than to touch that again. I'm rooting for Anjelica to blow that sky-high. Also, what's the deal with Tripp? His mom is dead and long gone as far as we know. The boy needs to get over it. With that said, I'm liking the new direction the show is taking so far. It would be the perfect time to bring back Mimi as Farah hasn't graced our screens in so long. Re-cast Allie with Crystal Hunt and let the battle begin.

I watched Ron's first show.

I thought Anjelica and Hattie was pure 80s camp. I liked it. I couldn't help but notice how those actresses excelled in their scenes, while younger actors must have lots of trouble keeping up with the pace of the show.

I liked Abi. Jordi Vilasuso has gotten WORSE over the years. The same goes for Judi Evans. She spent her first couple of scenes hiding her mouth behind her hands and whispering... huh?! I expected more from her. BTW what's the deal with Adrienne and Bonnie? JE played 2 different characters in the same decade and no one even blinked?

Adrienne and Justin aren't played out. They've barely had a story. It was all off-screen. How is that played out? I understand not finding them very interesting (and I don't but I like the actors) .. the problem is anytime they get some airtime it's the same old we saw years ago. We'd get the same storyline for a few episodes and then they'd vanish and then pop up here and there.

But ugh. I appreciate my local news people keeping folks updated with severe weather, I really do, but I'm annoyed the first half hour was missed because of it.

EDIT: Ugh. It was pretty much entirely pre-empted, apart from like a minute. Ugh. Ugh.

He HAS gotten worse. I don't remember finding him as terrible as I do now but according to some he's always been awful. And I see the stans have come out begging Ron to keep him because Dario became a little bit more interesting by turning smarmy. Ugh. Sometimes it's best to just let characters go when they don't work, or they serve their purpose. I'm tired of everyone being "redeemed" and sticking around just become some fawn over the actor or now that the writing shift has made Dario a tad more interesting.

Bonnie was never meant to look like Adrienne in her first go around so yeah, no one blinked an eye. No one has blinked an eye that Roman is really Chris Kosticheck either

This is just one of the issues with their insane shooting schedule - the younger new cast just never have any chance to to keep up. It's like throwing a baby in the water. Of course, there's hopeless cases like Jovanni, but the production doesn't help.

He's really desperate to keep his job I guess.

    • Agreed! I normally don't rate Amanda Setton that highly as an actress, but she knocked those scenes out of the park. Between this and the Michael storyline, I think we're in for a week of juicy drama. I heard everyone talking about how dull Rory Gibson was on Y&R, but I thought he was pretty good today playing a steelier version of Michael. And I loved Wiley's little "Bye mommy!" moment. The writers clearly know how much most of us hate Willow if they're tossing out little nuggets of schadenfreude like that one.
    • Slower day, but not bad. I thought Tomas was at his personal best today, flirting with Kat at Uptown.  Hayley is pregnant!  Oh boy... Samantha felt more like the babysitter today vs. the young sister. I'm ready to meet Sharon. I want a strong dynamic so it's not a repeat of what we just saw with Tracy's reunion.
    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
